The Resort at Glade Springs

Quiet. Could hardly tell we had neighbors. Poorly lit if someone was walking from place to place after dark.

The grounds and public spaces were great. Very dated and repairs were not done professionally.

Stayed one night on way to Outer Banks. It was ok. Very few others on property. Ate dinner at the gold club. Tournament was just over and while the food was great, it was extremely noisy!! Will not need to return to this hotel.

I cannot find the words to express what lies in my heart. Perhaps it would be better to respond on another occasion.

Breakfast is nothing special, the scrambled eggs were not appealing- it looked like it was sitting out for hours and did not top it up. Requested a fresh batch of scrambled eggs and was declined because the power was out. At that point, I would’ve taken the eggs out, instead of leaving for the guests to eat. Eat safe food, toast. Won’t get into the toaster situation. Think you have an idea based on everything else I shared. On a good note, they had good food selection.

Classic old resort in good location. Only complaint is that Carpets are a little musty everywhere.

The property is beautiful! The rooms have musty smells and the carpet is sticky. The porch entry is very warped and a trip hazard. The sleeping accommodations need to be repaired and deep cleaned.

Friendly staff. We love Bunkers. Had to have room changed. It smelled like urine in first room. Breakfast buffet has limited options. Indoor pool was closed due to renovations and it stormed during our stay. Kids were disappointed in not being able to do swimming.

The room was perfect for an overnight stay. Beautiful onsite golf courses and property.

Breakfast had a good variety of food and was kept filled and warm. Carpet, curtains and couch in room was worn and stained - need replaced. Air conditioning was loud and cycled constantly. Shower water pressure was low. Stay was not worth the price.

Badly in need of renovations. The “executive suite” room was dark and gloomy and had stains on the couch. The doors and woodwork were worn and dirty. A fresh coat of paint and a two minute cleaning of the porch would have done wonders for the experience

The pool was out of service while we were there. The lady at the front desk was rude.

We loved all the amenities at the resort. It’s pet friendly which is a big deciding factor for us. The young people working the rec center were super friendly especially the young man working the escape room. The pool was out of service while we were there. The lady at the front desk was rude.
