5 stars all the way! Top of the line everything, ever single detail was 5 stars. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely stay here again!

Very helpful and welcoming staff. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed with high end materials and fixtures. The location is convenient for exploring the surrounding communities and popular destinations. It’s a place you look forward to coming back to after a long day or a return trip.

This hotel is new, in an historic bank building that was totally rebuilt/renovated. The attention to detail is every where you look in the beautiful rooms & unsuite bathrooms. The rooms are spacious with 12+ foot ceilings, beautiful decor and lots of natural light. Staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a complimentary wine social every evening, 4:30-6:00. The complimentary light continental is welcome since there are few to no dining options immediately adjacent the hotel, but could be enlarged. The hotel's location is great for exploring the Willamette Valley and visiting the many wineries. There are also great dining options in the surrounding communities. Dayton is a charming small town and also has some great dining options but with more limited operating hours due, I suspect,to the smaller population. We had hoped to try Loam, but it wasn't open the days we visited. All in all, a great hotel. We'd stay again.

surprised to find such a nice hotel in such a quiet small town

My room had no writing desk to be used for computer work. Similarly, there were no chairs in the room to be used for watching the television. One literally had to sit on the bed or lay in the bed to watch. Not so good when trying to view World Cup football.

The breakfast was very nice. Fresh everything. The setting and modern layout of this gem of a hotel was extra inviting. Friendly staff, comfortable room, and close to everything wine-country! We will return for sure. Would definitely consider upgrading to the rooms with a fireplace. They are spectacular. We had the small room. Although nice and fairly large, our friends who paid just a little more for the upgrade were VERY happy.

Amazing property and staff. It feels like an overgrown bed and breakfast with 12 rooms. New property and opened in 2025 so very up to date. We had a great space with sitting room, see thru fireplace, 2 televisions, awesome bedding and pillows, 5 piece bath, real furniture not pre-fab hotel modular furniture, and daily social hour with wine tasting to meet other guests. I'll go back with my family to enjoy more wine country.

What a beautiful hotel with all the amenities! We feel like VIPs! The property manager has been absolutely fantastic and super helpful in every way possible. Thank you Jeff! We’ll definitely be back.

Clean room and staff was wonderful

While Dayton is a smaller community, the Dayton Inn and the town itself exceeded our expectations! This hotel has 12 beautifully appointed rooms with exceptional upgrades such as heated towel bars in the bathroom, afternoon wine and cheese social and wonderful bedding. The manager cheerfully greeted us at check in and although our room wasn't ready, she provided many options in town to consider while we waited. The location is very convenient to so many different wineries and the town itself has a couple of terrific tasting rooms (highly recommend Satyr Fire) and restaurants (highly recommend Camino). Our only regret is not booking more nights. We plan to revisit the Willamette Vally again next year and will use the Dayton Inn as our base while we travel the area in search of more terrific wineries, of which there is no shortage!

My family booked three rooms which were spacious and beautifully decorated. The amenities and special touches provided exceeded our expectations and the property manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Willamette Valley area!
