Had room on back side that faced hill and it had windows they opened and you could feel the breeze and we saw so deer- very peaceful.

Clean, the desk was very helpful, good breakfast. Only issue was the hot tub was not working.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly, room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good…… nothing to complain about!

Clean room and friendly staff. Convenient location to get to places around town. Hot and cold breakfast options. Only con had was could hear the room above us walking around.

Needed some info in rooms on where to eat or sites to see. The pillows were like little kid pillow or small camping pillows. The hot tub was great.

The website did not list that there was a pool on the property. I wish I had know so I could pack a bathing suit. Other than that and a June bug in the bathtub, and a very slow draining tub, all was good.

Went here for our yearly trip with the family. The hotel is very nice super clean check in and check out was easy.The pool and hot tub is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast every morning is a slam dunk. The beds were super comfy. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone going into decorah iowa. We will be definitely coming back to this hotel 10/10

This hotel is nice and the staff is amazing. The construction in the area is a little inconvenient so plan ahead if time is importing. The only other problem is that there isn’t an elevator. There are only two floors so that’s understandable, but for the elderly, disabled people, or people with a lot of luggage it’s going to be a problem. My suggestion is get a room on the first floor.

Vacuuming in the hallways at 9:00 AM. And the WORST pillows I’ve ever had on a bed…. Ouch

Staff was very nice. They found a room that better served my needs with my mom along. Transferred from upper level to lower without hesitation. Very appreciated. Very nice, clean, comfortable room.

It was very clean The bed in our unit was hard as BRICKS!! I talked to the so call manager I believe his name was Justin!!! At almost 2 am he wanted to tell me about him hearing complaints some people like frim beds some like soft beds what his wife likes etc. My wife graduated today from upper iowa university and after a almost 5 hour drive. We barely slept no aplogizes just offering to switch our room but stating all the beds were the same!!! So what was the point of moving!! 200 bucks for a hurt back ridiculous unhappy and unfair

The service was efficient, pleasant, and good. The room was fine. Breakfast was not very good - the yogurt was barely edible, the scrambled eggs were dry, and coffee was very weak and thin. There was no local/regional channel on the TV. The sheets were synthetic fabric and wrinkled - the bed was not well made.
