Candlewood Suites Deer Park TX by IHG

Location, staff Air freshener upstairs

First time I stayed here. It was odd to not have breakfast included or even available, but a trip to Walmart took care of that. As I was only staying 4 days, I didn't need the oven or toaster, but I can see how they would be handy for longer stays. I found it odd that while I was given one pre-packaged coffee filter, it was not replaced and I didn't find a place to find more after day 1. However, I did discover coffee was available on the first floor with "the good creamer." It was also strange not to have anyone clean the room or replace towels during my stay as it is only offered once a week unless you arrange for a special cleaning or swap out towels at the front desk. Overall, I felt safe, the bed was comfortable, the show was hot (though I would have liked a lot more water pressure), and the location was ideal. Would easily stay here again. Probably will.

Great place to stay for extended period.

Good clean hotel, reasonably priced, and convenient to my clients in the immediate area. Also, right near main thorofare Hwy 225, but very quiet and not in a high traffic area.

Enjoyed the stay!

Very good

The stay was good but the parking situation was not, 18 wheelers all over taking up multiple spots making the parking more complicated than it should’ve been

The only positive thing was the laundry was free! Upon checking into the first room I was put in, I noticed it had water leaking on the floor and it got into the carpet. I immediately went down to the front desk. Then I was moved to another room on the first floor and soon as I entered it smelled awful. It smelled stale like. It was just awful. Something must had happened to the ceiling because it was patched up. There was hair in the sink. The room next to me was loud. It was just terrible. I didn’t sleep at all. The front desk were made aware about both incidents and all I got was “I’m sorry”!

Friendly staff, very helpful, except for all the 18-wheeler trucks in the parking lot taking up 4 spots each…. If you get back late, good luck finding a parking spot!!!!

Great stay. Quiet and clean rooms. Good air conditioning

Very good

Full kitchen was great and full size refrigerator too. The room setup was to my liking , overall a pleasant stay

The room was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable, lighting was good, it had a freezer in the room, they had USB ports in the room, and the shower got hot. Also, the food/drinks they had available to purchase were fairly priced. No smart TV in the room. Also, there was a weird smell in the hall of the first floor.

Staff, clean, and safe I had no complaints
