The building was torn down when we got there and no one even notify us that the building was totally gone. We booked this in January. We got to our destination on 3 July, expecting to be in our room and found out it was under construction. No one let us know that this was happening. Therefore we had to struggle to find another place to stay. We are not happy about this the Expedia staff exemplary with what they were doing for us and did find us another facility that we would allow us to stay on short notice.

I had never stated in an ocean front room before. I loved the outdoor patio and the huge picture window in the room.

I’m pretty sure it’s not even open. I came onto the property and there were so many windows and doors broken down. It was very scary.

I am completely disgusted with Expedia for booking us into a hotel that has been partly demolished for remodeling. The hotel is closed. I drove 100 miles from Portland to get there only to have to scramble to find an alternative, then having to drive another 100 miles. A complete waste of the first day of my vacation, which Expedia had the cheek to offer me an insulting $50 voucher. Expedia has lost a customer for life. I will never use them again.

WHEN IN THE WORLD ARE YOU GOING TO STOP BOOKING AT A HOTEL THAT IS BEING DEMOLISHED? WE ARRIVED THE EVENING OF OUR RESERVATION TO CHECK IN, ONLY TO BE GREETED BY ROLLS OF YELLOW TAPE BLOCKING THE WHOLE PARKING LOT AND SIGNS OF PRE-DEMOLITION. LUCKILY I DID NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. WE CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE DOOR TO THE OFFICE AND THE FORMER MANAGEMENT OF THIS HOTEL STATED THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING THEIR HARDEST TO GET YOU TO STOP BOOKING HERE. PLEASE STOP. WE HAD TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY AFTER A LONG DAY OF DRIVING. ANY COMPENSATION YOU CAN PROVIDE ME FOR THIS HUGE INCONVENIENCE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Had it booked and was in the way up from Newport after a long day trip with my 3 year old. It was closed upon arrival. A good property would update it through a major booking service so I doubt I’d book here again just for that. This should be published. They don't do anything to communicate they're closed.

Room was great! That is all that was available at the time, as they are in the middle of remodeling. Had to check in over the phone. I was the last to stay there before they closed to finish remodel and change to new name… I hope the new owners will keep the lower price for locals during the slow seasons as I love taking a break and staying here…

We used to love staying there We made a reservation in April for the middle of May. When we got there it was closed and being demolished. The building they booked us in wasn't even going to be open for two more weeks. We never got notified and only found out when my husband found a phone number on the office door. The person he talked to was rude and said sorry you'll have to find somewhere else to stay. Thankfully we hadn't paid for the room yet and were able to find other accommodations for almost double the cost! Very disappointed! We've been going here for the last 4 years.

View was pretty Called me on way to property telling me they didn’t have a room, moved us to their sister location 15 min away, room was nothing like pictures. Will never book their again

The ocean view is beautiful and I loved hearing the waves crashing. They were doing work right above my room and it was very loud.

Nothing Because the communication was awful and they let people book under false postings. And then don’t let people cancel because they have zero amenities and lied with false advertising

We liked the proximity to the beach. We didnt like the fact that we booked this hotel for their indoor pool and sauna facilities and spa bath. Unfortunately after we booked we found out that the pool and sauna were closed. Apparently their were renovations. The site looked like a post apocalypse movie site and the cliff face is severely eroding up to 50 feet away from the buildings. We thought we might find our building on the beach in the morning. The site was dangerous. We will never stay there again. Booking should have known about this.

Great hot tub in our room! Such a comfortable bed. And the beach view from our room and deck can't be beat! Amazing beach, very unique! It changes with the tides, so go out at different times of day for the best experience. Loved our stay ?
