It had a fireplace as well. We wanted to open our door to hear the ocean, but it is on a main highway, so you only heard cars.

I booked a room here for the view of Depoe Bay and scenic cliffs, and it didn't disappoint. Open the balcony door and you can smell the salt air and hear the waves crashing (along with cars on US 101). Location is excellent, 2 blocks from the whale watching center and restaurants. 20 min drive to Lincoln City and Newport. Rooms have basic but updated furnishings. Bed was firm but comfortable, pillows nice as well, fluffy towels. Gas fireplace was a nice touch, as was the ceiling fan. I had an end room on the top floor and it was pretty quiet at night. Plenty of parking. Not a deal breaker for me, but this is an older building along a busy highway, so be prepared for some road noise and motel vibes. The bathroom fan didn't work, and it seemed like sand came up from the tub drain. I was informed at check in that there would be a maintenance crew on site to get the motel ready for summer with painting and plumbing work, so it appears they are keeping up with repairs.

It was a great location within walking distance of anything you would need or want to see in Depoe Bay (and Boiler Bay is just a mile down the road). The room was clean and comfortable. The young man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. N/A

Tremendous view of the ocean. While it looks older on the outside, the rooms and amenities are very good.

the view and location Travel lodge did not fulfill my request for rooms being close and as a result my second room was in the basement which was very loud

The view was awsome! The room was clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful! Great stay!! Nothing, everything was exceptional!

Room wa updated and clean Handicapped room but shower was in tub. Had a bit of an issue with my service animal even though I let them know when I booked I had service dog.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bonny was particularly helpful in getting directions sorted to where we wanted to go. Clean room, very comfy beds and pillows. Excellent view of the sunsetting and seeing the sea lions in the morning
