Full breakfast, location excellent, quiet A/C, very nice shower, welcome chocolate, bottled water, potato chips in lobby and afternoon cookies chair in room would benefit from a foot stool

Even though we do not have a dog, we like that it is pet friendly. We like that it is walking distance from the Festival Theater. We requested a different room for our next stay and they were very accommodating. Available snacks are a bonus. The chocolate candy on the bed is a plus. The afternoon cookies downstairs are impressive.

The history, location, service, comfort and food were all excellent. The connection to the Dorset Playhouse was perfect. We had a delicious dinner at the inn walked to the Playhouse and stayed the night at the inn. The breakfast was off the charts perfection!

Superb Breakfast. We didn't need either lunch OR dinner! The Inn is walking distance from the Dorset Theatre Festival. But if we decide to drive, the parking is excellent at the Dorset Theatre. There's usually space to park right in front of the Inn but if necessary there's a parking lot with an entrance to the building with a key. The room was on the side of the building opposite Route 30.

Kitchen was not open for breakfast. provision at local bakery was made as alternative.

Comfortable, nicely appointed suite. Lovely common room with wood burning fireplace Had to walk to an outside breakfast place. Would have preferred eating breakfast on site.

Fabulous country inn. Team is excellent. Honestly, we love this place and will hopefully come back again. Super clean. The charm is unparalleled. Breakfast legendary.

The history and beauty. Ambiance and dining experience. We had a tiny third floor room and the heat was on so high (7 degrees outside) that we had to open the window wide and use no blankets

Everything was great. Dinner at restaurant was exceptional. Staff attentive, courteous and friendly. My wife and I plan to return.

Great accommodations. Staff friendly and courteous and went beyond with explaining everything about the inn and the room. Enjoyed our drink in the bar followed by a highly dining experience. Breakfast which is included was great with a vast choice to choose from. Not the first time staying at the inn and it won't be my last.
