It's difficult to find non-branded hotels as nice as this one. It has the feel of an updated large ski lodge. The food at the diner and the breakfast food is slightly better than US ski fare, but not much. As the hotel doesn't have breakfast, it's not essentially part of it anyway

the receptionists are more than friendly, they were very welcoming and helpful. the hotel itself is very very clean, well maintained and especially the view from the hotel was exceptional. the elevators in the building were always super super slow and the sofa bed in our room was very flimsy, almost felt like i was falling while sleeping

The whole experience was delightful and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others because of location, price (on the off season) and activities to do surrounding. We're mountain bikers so it was particularly ideal for what we were looking for in a destination mountain adventure.
