Terrace Inn and Suites

Staff was helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. I only wish there was an iron and ironing board available. I definitely love that there is an on-site laundry room. I am so happy I found this inn being that it was close to work, very, very convenient. Tons of food places nearby. I will be staying again in the future. Only if there is vacancies. They seem to fill pretty fast!!

Free parking and good location

Don't stay here! Sure it is a super cheap motel so we expected a low quality room and it was. But it is close to where we needed to be and it was a last minute booking. We flew from the East coast and knew we'd arrive very late, after midnight. So I called first and told them this. The friendly day manager Jose took my info and made a note and said it wouldn't be a problem because they have a desk manager all night. When we arrived, exhausted at 1 a.m., at first there was no one there. After ringing the bell many times a man came to the window. I'm pretty sure we woke him and he was annoyed. He wouldn't check us in! He kept saying we were late and I should read the rules on the website. He ignored my statement that we had called about the late arrival and he denied there was any note. He didn't apologize or express sympathy. He just said "I'm not going to repeat myself again", and turned away. We had to find another hotel at 1:30 a.m.! Worst motel manager ever. He should be fired.

The remote control for the TV didn’t work to change the channels. I didn’t realize when I booked that it was a smoking room. That’s on me though. I didn’t know smoking rooms were a thing in CA so I wasn’t looking at it. Soooo pretty stinky. Other than that it was ok.

It’s a cheap ok option. I liked it I would recommend it to anyone.

Mattress was very firm. The shower diverter in the tub had been removed, so no shower was possible, just bath. Only folding chairs for seating.

The hotel was reasonable and in an ok location but our room smelled like a homeless camp. Room 53. We checked in kind of late and no other choice but to stay.

Hotel room is a little run down but clean and good value. No shampoo or conditioner is provided or available at hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Parking convenient. Could use update on basic amenities, but the basics were ok enough for a last min stay.

I used to frequent this place about 20-30 years back, but it's been a while since my return. Regarding my current stay, the rooms were very clean considering the outdated furniture and decor. The tub is super tiny, almost made for children, but it was still cleaned thoroughly. Aside from the wonky Internet connection and a few loud guests on the 4th of July, my stay was pretty good. Also, the beds were very firm and comfy and so were the pillows. I just wish the phone worked in my room to be able to call the front desk and wished they offered continental breakfast, but overall, I'd definitely stay here again!

Besides a shower mat that looks like it has been through some things it was a pleasant experience. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, the working was sufficient and felt my car was safe as we explored Richmond. I would definitely come back here.

Clean room, free self parking, convenient.

The parking was bad. The parking lot was almost full and many of the cars were taking up two spaces. Housekeeping was great. My towels were replenished and trash cans were emptied. This rarely occurs when I'm spending two nights.
