WoodSpring Suites Savannah West - Ellabell Metaplant

This hotel is beyond bare bones. Our double room had one pillow, zero towels, zero curtains on the window, and not even a shower curtain in the bathroom.

Bathroom was not stocked. No Towels, no shower curtain, no trash bags for garbage bins.

We made a reservation through Hotels.com for a king bedroom 2 two nights, two adults. We arrived only to find out there were no King rooms available. We settled for a queen room. When we checked in the room, had one towel one washcloth and the bed. And no ice maker in the building. It looked like someone had just gotten up off of it. I went down to get some towels. They said they were all still in the dryer. They asked if I wanted a phone call when they were ready. I said yes. We fell asleep around 1030 PM. At 11:45 PM the front desk called the room phone. This of course woke us up and she started the towels are ready. I asked them to bring them up. She did not answer and hung up on me. I went down to the desk to pick them up and told the person at the desk that I didn’t appreciate her calling and waking us up at quarter to midnight. She said “you wanted da towels, didn’t ya?” I replied that I did, but I expected them to be in the room when I checked in. She stated “we was busy“. And I said “apparently not busy putting towels in rooms”. Very rude very unprofessional we canceled second night. do not recommend.

Bed was a little firmer than I’m used but nonetheless I enjoyed a good night sleep.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean almost sterile like. My room had a very strong cleaning agent odor.

There was no iron or ice available. The automatic blinds didn’t work. When tried to call front desk said that feature hasn’t been set up yet. If it hadn’t been late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere. Worst place we’ve stayed while traveling. First negative review I’ve ever had to give. My advice stay somewhere else.

Bare bones hotel. Not even tissues in bathroom. 1/4 roll of toilet tissue. I had to bring my own coffee pot. Left over food opened in cabinet with bread crumbs all over draws. Housekeeping staff not doing a good job. Left over food still in trash cans in the room. People screaming and laughing in the hallway at 2am, doors being knocked on and doors opening and closing. Room above me people jumping also sounded like chairs being dragged along the floor all night long. 4am another bunch open and closing doors. I got no sleep at all. Very disrepective. Would never stay there again.

There’s nothing in room to use other than TV and kitchenette w/o dishes or pans. Hotel is mainly for truck drivers because of its location. Even though it is clean the smell of microwaved food is all over the hallways. Overall it is good for singles. DO NOT TAKE SPOUSE.

We loved being able to control our costs and staff here listen to concerns and move quickly to rectify guests' requests. Guests must also be conscientious about managing spaces. We chose this location for three or four stays and each week, our estimation of value decreased. Housekeeping and front office were attentive, but bugs became an issue...

Very clean, great place to rest.

Nearest Grocery Store is 5 minutes away and limited selection. No pots and pans in the room. Walls are very thin plan on hearing even your next door room snoring. Beds are metal frames. but able to sleep on them.

Good value hotel and is next door to pilot truck stop. Better value than some older hotels in the area

Also can't remember staying at a place where there was no ice machine! A fridge, stove, sink, NO ICE!! We were hoping for a pool, thought it was left out of the amenities listed online but found there actually wasn't one!

Pretty good room for a pretty good price. Not enough staff around to take care of needs.

Great value, clean Nothing really. My husband didn’t like the highway traffic noise, but I considered it “white noise “ and slept great.

Woke up to ants all over the desk. Gross! This was surprising because the place looks new and seemed clean. The humidity in the room was awful, even with the air on 73. The floor was damp, our clothes that were laying out were damp when we picked them up. We all felt sticky throughout the night. Terrible sleep. Luckily we were only there for 1 night. Finding bugs in your room when you wake up should immediately prompt either a discounted or free stay but that wasnt even offered when I notified the front desk as we left. Do not suggest this hotel.
