Great time with family.

The only thing we didn't like it's the way the cleaned the room. (They didn't clean it even after we asked them to clean) gave us new towels. We stayed for 3 night so it worth 1 good cleaning at least

There was a bedding set for the fold-out couch but the thin blanket was insufficient so I requested a second blanket at the front desk at 8:00pm. They did not have one there, so promised to have Housekeeping bring one to my room. We waited 70 minutes before I contacted them again. They apologized and said they would send someone right away. Fifteen minutes later we got our blanket. While the service and our room were disappointing, the grounds generally were attractive, especially the golf course. The pools, pool chairs, etc. were all nice.

They lacked sufficient staff for the enormous property. Front desk never picked up the phone on several occasions. We needed blankets one night and it never arrived. We had to go to the front desk the next day to order the blanket & towels. When leaving the last day we called to check out & they never answered the phone. I paid almost $5000 for a 4 night stay and I was disappointed about the customer service. I’d like part of my money babk

Clean room. Soft, comfortable towels and bedding. Everything needed supplied in room. The pools and landscaping are beautiful and relaxing. Enjoyed everything about our stay! Can't wait for the next opportunity to stay!

The reason for the poor score is mainly for the house keeping service. Otherwise, the environment and hotel amenities are great. They do not provide daily house keeping as mentioned on Expedia. And the experience with the house keeping is horrifying. Returning to the unit after the housekeeping was performed. The bed was poorly made, sofa bed was not touch, and the worse thing was the was a dirty and smell like “poo” garbage bag, which was left on top of the kitchen counter, where the coffee machine was located. Tried to call the front desk, they just say sorry for that and that is it. After putting down the phone, I was thinking I shall get them to clear the dirty bag as I really doesn’t want to touch it myself. Then I call front desk and concierge for more than 3 times right after I put down the phone. No one even picked up the phone. And I had to through it myself, which made me vomited after that. It was really a horrible and never want to have experience for my stay. And I really unexpected this for such a high cost hotel. I dared not to request housekeeping service again for my subsequent days as I don’t want to have bad surprises, but the housekeeping was performed again by itself and without request. Beds are still poorly made, and sofa bed is still untouched. Even there was no dirty garbage bad was left but I am scared of how do they clean the place. Also the wifi also has very poor performance

I loved the layout. It is actually a time-share locale so the room was more of a small apartment with separate living and kitchen area. Which means if you are planning to stay for more than a few days you can plan ahead and take some food to do light cooking and use the fridge. Save some money and buy things before arriving. They do have a small market with many things but some of the items sold were almost 3X the cost they normally are. Other than that it was a nice little pool with a slide - nothing fancy. A short distance from all the rooms and plenty of parking. Just a heads up - they will try to get you to attend a time share presentation as soon as you are done checking in (that is where they direct you to get your key/pass). The internet is terrible and there is no signal whatsoever in the bedrooms. We could not call or text family down the road in another room. But as far as fun. The kids will love it.

Loved our stay

This is a party scene. There is no relaxing. It is also insanely packed. Good luck trying to get anything you might run out of or need more of, like towels, pillows etc. You can only text them and then the items never arrive, even after hours of waiting. Other guests are loud and rude, kids running around unsupervised, staff didn't know the times things closed or opened, and they push you constantly to sign up for their time share demo. Did I mention it was PACKED? Couldn't even get a chair to put my towel on to go swim. I would not stay here again. Ever. Their grounds are also in need of repair . They have an above ground fire line riser that has been leaking so long, it's corroded beyond repair . They also have a roach issue near the trash bins in front. Don't do it y'all.

A wonderful experience was had. From the staff to the amenities- everything was perfect! A perfect place for a quick and convenient family getaway or a romantic couples retreat. No matter the reason, you’ll leave knowing that you’ll be coming back.

Overall a good experience. The room was large and well stocked. I did find some hair in the bathroom but wasn’t a big deal. The restaurant was severely understaffed, that’s the only place to get a Starbucks coffee at the moment with the cafe market being renovated and it took close to 30 mins for two coffees. One person in front of us. The shop is expensive but good if you don’t want to leave the resort. The pools were nice and staff was so friendly! Would recommend to friends and family.

Pools are not very clean, but lots of room to stretch out. Great gym, fun activities, helpful and kind staff all around. Would definitely come back

This is our 4th year coming to the Hyatt Regency - Welk Resort. This is an outstanding place to staycation, or vacation, as a family. There are so many amenities to accommodate the stay, including; pools, spas, water slides, snack bars, market and places to dine. The grounds are upbeat daily and Staff is the best. The rooms are great but I recommend the Villas. We'll be back next year.

Mi familia y yo amamos el lugar

From start to finish, we were treated wonderfully by the kind and courteous staff members. We stayed in the Villas on the Green and our room was large enough for my family of 5. AC blew cold and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My family and I enjoyed the pools/slide and roasted s'mores every evening. We made use of the full size kitchen and BBQs on property, as well. The adult-only gym was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. Food on site is sold at a premium but there are local groceries if you prefer. I am super grateful for an incredible stay and cannot wait to come back!

Rooms were large & clean. The pools were great!

Very little to do for adults. Everything on site is closed by 9pm
-
Great place to stay! Convenience market on site was a bit pricey, but convenient nonetheless. Staff were very helpful. Overall very pleased.

Except that you have to check out at 10 a.m. and check in at 4 p.m., everything else is very good.
