Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. The pools were perfect and our 2 daughters (6yrs and 9yrs old) loved the goats. The Lazy Goat Tavern had great food and drink options (even a mocktail!). We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Our favorite place to stay in Vermont!

Lovely place with very pleasant facilities. The bikes, however, left something to be desired and the bike trails were not very good.

Loved our stay. Clean, quiet, and quaint. Beautiful grounds, with plenty of amenities. Great price. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was fantastic. Truly delicious and healthy. Nothing that I can think of

The negatives: Booking through Expedia incurred a $10 fee that was unexpected and the hotel staff did a mediocre job explaining the rationale for that charge. Being a culinary resort, I expected more treats included for guests and if not free breakfast, then at least a meal subsidy at one of the onsite eateries. All in all, it’s a nice, quiet place to stay and relax if you want to be close to Burlington but not in the city.

Beautiful property with a relaxing spa

Gardens, food, and staff (Ryleigh and Aidan) were superior. Very kind, engaging and professional. Convenient but perhaps a tad accessible. The island of solitude and serenity is quite welcoming despite relative adjacency to the highway.

We had a great night in one of the king suites with hot tub. Didn’t have more than twelve hours, but we enjoyed the grounds, the fitness center, and the room. Seemed like a good deal for what we paid. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was very friendly.
