Beautiful hotel, amazing location, staff were amazing Nothing, it was 10/10

From the moment we arrived, the service was unorganized and far below the standard of a luxury hotel. The reception took our passports and asked us to sit while they completed the check-in process. They offered us welcome drinks, but the drinks took more than 30 minutes to arrive, and even after that, the check-in was still not finished. When we finally got to the room, we discovered they had given us a double bed instead of a proper king bed, despite clearly informing the hotel that we were staying as a married couple on our honeymoon. Their first response was simply, “Sorry, we have no rooms available.” No upgrade was offered, no real attempt to solve the issue professionally. Only after I insisted on an upgrade did they “speak to management” and come back with the idea of placing a layer between the two beds to make it look like one bed. The gap and dent in the middle were still extremely noticeable and uncomfortable. The AC in the room was also very weak, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Communication with reception was another ongoing issue. Most of the time they would not answer the phone, and when they did, it would take over 5 minutes for anyone to respond or assist. There is not even a proper guest services option on the room phone — only reception, spa, or room service. Housekeeping was careless throughout the stay. One day they cleaned the room but left the tissue box completely empty without replacing it. Another day, we left shopping bags outside the room expecting housekeeping to dispose of them while cleaning, yet they simply ignored them completely. The hotel also limits “complimentary” water to only two bottles per day. When we asked for additional water, reception told us we had to order through room service for €15 per bottle, which is honestly ridiculous for a hotel advertising itself as luxury.

I lost my reservation because they were not collaborative in sending an iron and a stand for the bags even the manger in both duties didn’t do anything!! Just promised for nothing

Comfy beds, fabulous bathroom and amazing restaurants, pool and beach area. Beach bag in room also a nice touch for travellers with small suitcases. Helpful staff at the front desk and taxis ordering to Marbella Old Town and Puerto Banus was frictionless. Isola Restaurant: Steak, seam bream and vongole at Isola restaurant was delicious and so well presented and my burrata starter was to die for! Wonderful bit of upmarket luxury for a few nights away together in May! ! Would highly recommend the Mett! Only some small teaks to recommend....would have appreciated a litre of ordinary still water in the room fridge rather than the pricey smaller bottles that are too difficult to open when thirsty?! Wold also appreciate a small covered plastic bottomed bin in the rooms for wet/sticky/ sanitary items that I did not want to dump in the large rattan bin in the bathroom or bedroom. Something more practical is really required please? Would also have appreciated pool towels when lounging later in the day....no clear station for pick up? Think it might be helpful for the staff to ask loungers if they would like a drink rather than having to get up and go to the bar....this is often the only opportunity that those of us living in colder climates have to lie out in the sun (for months) and it is precious time?! One last consideration might be a transparent screen at the side of Isola that is opposite the left path by the pool, (to the beach). We were seated here initially but asked to move as it is very much a 'wind tunnel' effect when the wind is high. It was no trouble to reseat us - staff most kind and our meal was wonderful with the flame boxes creating great atmosphere.

The hotel is the 3 stars hotel, it doesn't much the 5 stars at all. We suggest to keep away of this place

EVERYTHING! This place is amazing. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Pool and ocean view from room was nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Pool area is beautiful and Beach access convenient. 12/10 recommend. NA

Lovely hotel, and very smart. Location and beach great. Food very good and breakfast selection excellent. Poolside and restaurant staff need to learn customer 1st approach. Very entitled. More to life than tik tok and instagram

Beachfront ,location and utilities are awesome ! Everything thing was enjoyable unless the credit deposits and bar menus prices were highly upmarket

The hotel is nice, modern. Beautiful bar and restaurants (excellent food). Pool with cold water, impossible to relax, not enough sunbeds. They don't really clean your rooms and there's always noise while you're trying to sleep. Don't even bother with the Spa.

Breakfast also need some more options, if you are staying there for longer than 2 days it gets pretty boring to eat same stuff each day. There are literally 20 types of spreads for your pancakes, but only couple of hot dishes available for breakfast that never change.

The location. Beautiful visually. Excellent breakfast. Short staffed. Could never find chairs at the pool. Gouged for everything! Told when we arrived they charge our credit card 200 euros a day. Limited places to eat unless you have a car.

Loved the location, comfort, and cleanliness. The staff were welcoming, the pool was relaxing, and the whole place had a calm, chill vibe. Service was a bit slow, with long waits for water or towels. Our room phone wasn’t working, so we had to call the hotel directly to reach reception. I also tried a classic tomato pasta that, unfortunately, didn’t seem well prepared

Great, if you like to chill at a pool or by the beach. Good breakfast. Way overpriced. Many noisy tourists from all parts of the world. The staff is slow, especially valet. It is very hot, and the ac is only inside rooms.
