My room reeked of what I believe was cigarette smoke. When I told this to the front desk, she vehemently denied that anyone smoked in that room, and furthermore it had never been a smoking room. The room had that stale, smoke stench like it hasn't been smoked in for years. I could barely stand being in the room. I woke up multiple times during the night and as soon as waking up, I could smell that smoke. If it's not smoke, there is s something else emanating a noxious odor. The person at the front desk on Sunday morning at 9:30 pushed back on my experience and made me feel like I was wrong. She said she would have a manager contact me, but that has not happened yet. I would like the room to be comped for my trouble. Room 217 August 1 to August 2. Thank you, Glenn, Musto

The room had a water leak from the AC when we first got in. They switched me to another room next door that was smaller and felt very cramped. Once I opened the sofa bed I could barely walk in the room. The breakfast was ok. The eggs tasted stale, no flavor. There was limited protein options. There was pieces of glass by the pool. My daughter found them as she walking around. She could’ve cut her foot. I told the maintenance crew and they quickly swept it up. The manager told me they had replaced the windows but didn’t clean up the broken glass. All in all, I expected more. Not thinking of going back anytime soon.

We were happily surprised by this hotel. Very clean with a fantastic location for visiting the area to both north and south areas

We stayed here for the 4th hoping for some peace and quiet and to not have to listen to the loud fireworks of our neighbors and this hotel delivered ! Apart from one door closing quietly I did not hear anything all night and was able to actually sleep ! We will definitely keep this hotel in mind next July! If you stay at the back it is on a canal which makes it feel peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of life . Highly recommend !

A nice place, very clean and good service. I think they should replace the pool towels, though, because they are very worn.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful

Our stay was wonderful! The area was very nice and easy access to baseball fields, as well as beaches. Breakfast was great, always ready early, and offered a wide variety of fresh foods. Rooms were clean and looked new. Our room was cleaned everyday without asking which was so nice. All staff were very welcoming and helpful and made our stay relaxing and restful.

I had a great stay. The staff was friendly, my room was very clean and the breakfast was also very good.

The room was very equipped with everything and the staff for excellent. The grounds were very pretty and overall the breakfast was fantastic. What more can I say?

The staff experience was equally frustrating. Most team members we interacted with were unfriendly and lacked basic customer service skills. As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I requested a late checkout, which is a benefit typically recognized when available. Instead of receiving assistance, I was told we had to leave by noon and had to go downstairs, repeatedly explain the situation, and request a manager before the late checkout was finally approved. The breakfast itself was decent, but the service staff could benefit from additional hospitality training and a more welcoming attitude toward guests. Overall, between the cleanliness issues, poor service, and lack of recognition of loyalty benefits, this stay did not meet the standards I expect from a Marriott property. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve the experience for future guests.
