The location is great. No complains

Great, helpful staff--very friendly, knowlegeable and accommodating. Looking forward to staying at the Exeter Inn again in the future.

The property is undergoing some needed changes and the results are all positive with respect to comfort and traveler needs.

Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee was weak. Plastic wrapped hard boiled eggs? Eww.

The room was very quiet, and I got a great night's sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the room had some character and charm. However, it did seem like it could use a little maintenance. The interior had a bit of a 1970s feel to it. The front door was difficult to open and close, the shower water was only lukewarm, and I couldn't get the TV to work. The TV was a Fire TV with several viewer accounts already added. It kept asking for a PIN code before I could watch anything. I called the front desk for assistance, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone.

I look forward to my next visit. It is an excellent location to explore the coast of MA and NH.

We’re so happy with Exeter Inn that’s why we always try to book there even if it’s a smaller room. Helpful staff, great location to Main Street, walkable and nice quiet neighborhood. The Inn’s lobby smells nice like those Marriott hotels and their towels are so soft. If you want to have a Gilmore Girls hotel vibe go here!

Clean room. Easy parking. They are upgrading the hotel next year. Breakfast was mediocre with stale pastries and hard boiled eggs but it was appreciated. The elevator barely fit 2 people. Overall great for the price and a good option for folks without breaking the bank since the inn at the Bandstand is ridiculously priced. Had a few family members and friends stay here too and they were satisfied and will stay again.

I was very, very disappointed to be woken up by construction right outside my window at 7am!!! This totally ruined my stay. The hotel manager must have known about this and yet didn't make any arrangements with the city? This was seriously unacceptable :(

We love staying here when we’re in the area! Our king bed was really comfy and the breakfast was perfect!

Great stay, however a worker at the bar/restaurant area replied rudely and with an attitude when my husband asked a questions

Breakfast was excellent. The only problem I had was arriving a lot of construction in the area. What did you like? That was the only thing that I didn’t like was a construction around the hotel when I arrived. Everything else was almost perfect.

We got a warm welcome with cookies and tea and a glass of Champagne and got a voucher for a drink at the bar. Food was fabulous. Very clean. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was enough to start the day off. Free parking on site. Deco was beautiful.

The lady on reception was really welcoming and helpful. The location is really nice. The lady making cocktails was super as was the breakfast. I haven’t ever given a bad review for a hotel but sad to say I was very disappointed. We only stayed for one night and our room left a lot to be desired. The wardrobe area was totally dark, the light bulb seemed to be missing the room was very noisy with other guests doors slamming. I noted when we were there that there is to be a total refit in 2027 (I think) so I am sure the bedrooms will improve. We were doing a road trip staying in 8 different hotels and compared to those we felt we were overcharged.

Quaint asset, staff were excellent greeted me with a glass of champagne at chk in (amazing) everyone was pleasant, helpful and accommodating‼️

Clean room, very nice older building that has been kept up well. Grounds were very nice and the tsa took my travel shaving cream so they had amenaties for free. I needed shaving cream and they had small tubes one time use they gave me. This was the best stay in New england area that we had in our week long stay

Everything, staff was so nice, continental breakfast lovely. Room was cozy, the rooms were small and had personality, unlike the uniform places today! I liked that fine old hotel feel. There were people there celebrating and having fun. Because it’s old it has few unused electric plugs to power up the Plethora of devices we lug around these days. They had to take turns.
