1) Housekeeping - it was not spelled out clearly during check in that it was by request only, but mentioned in fine print on the jacket for the access keys, which is easy to miss. There was no literature related to the property in the room (nor was a safe). We made several requests for housekeeping which largely went ignored or partially filled after follow ups. No vaccuming, trash was left in the room and bed was not made. Very lean housekeeping staff milled around in the main building area mostly. 2) Access keys failed a few times. Excuses given were technical glitches and "doorway batteries were failing". 3) Breakfast was especially underwhelming given the profile of the property - it is a tiny breakfast area, and food selections are poor. The breakfast lady left on her own was overwhelmed and cranky, while across the hall, the idle desk person checked her phone. The coffee tasted awful, like watered down swill. No signs on the food items either, causing confusion. Guests took care not to bump into each other all the time. 4) We heard excuses like "managers are out on vacation"; "it is new management trying to figure things out". There was no evidence of managerial oversight anywhere. Wish we knew this during the booking process.

Room feels a bit old. Breakfast was good.

Rude front desk

Amazing stay. Very clean. Helpful staff.

Surprisingly well equipped fitness room for a motel. We accidentally left a couple of things behind and staff turned them in to Lost and Found and then set them aside for us to pick up the next day

The breakfast area was dirty. The carpet in the hallways needed to be cleaned. The guest laundry dryer needed to be repaired. The rooms are dated. It was convenient to have the restaurant on property and the restaurant was clean and the staff courteous.

Really cute hotel, very comfortable room set up and bed. Great location- some shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Easy drive to sights and to Syracuse. Beautiful area overall. No cleaning service- for the price we are paying seems this should be offered. And cleaning between guests could be better- my floor in bathroom felt sticky and there was blueberry muffin crumbs stuck in one of my bath towels. Just feel like there is not an attention to detail.

Beds were super comfy. The hotel was super nice, I’d stay there again

The staff was not friendly.

This looked just like the photos. It had more character than a lot of hotels where you would stay in a strip mall/suburban type of location. It had a restaurant next door with a great vibe. That was super convenient. Coffee was bad. The breakfast was really clean and nice with a lot of choices. Typical of this type of hotel

Great value, room was clean and spacious.

I’m hoping this was a staffing issue but we had to change rooms at 11 pm before getting into bed (thankfully I checked). The sheets and toilet seat were covered in hair and what looked like grass ? The rooms are in desperate need of a deep clean. The woman who helped us was so kind, nothing on the front desk staff but management needs to better clean their rooms. The breakfast they offer you is less than desirable even with having an awesome restaurant next door. And the staff replenishing the coffee and food are incredibly rude. We actually just opted to leave because it was so distasteful. There are so many other reasonably priced options around, just go there.

Breakfast lady was not to pleasant , would allow me to make my own waffle, idk maybe was because the waffle machine was broken. Set up is to complicated and people don’t know where to go.

Great staff! Awesome breakfast. Easy parking. Helpful front desk

Absolutely loved it! Room clean and spacious, a great little gym, a nice breakfast selection. Also a fantastic restaurant for dinner on premises. Would definitely come back.

The check in staff was not particularly welcoming. Our main issue was that there was no room service at all unless you asked for it in advance but we were never told we needed to ask. At check-in we should have been asked if we want room service or at least be told we would have to ask to get it. Therefore we stayed 3 days with no room service despite paying $300 a night. The breakfast was little above the normal hotel free breakfast and the lady serving was very nice and helpful. On previous stays the food and bar were nice.

The walls of the rooms are paper thin. One night the people in the room next door were partying until 4am and we got no sleep, The front desk tried once to stop it but the noise continued.
-
Location was good for our visit purposes unfortunately a power outage caused us to miss a dinner opportunity at the restaurant, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. The continental breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet at night. The hallways and room were on the dark side. A little more light, especially in the hallways, would be better. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Price per night exceeded the quality of the room. Difficult to find adequate places to plug in mobile phones. Desk area of USB plugs shuts off when the main light is shut off so phones did not charge. Furniture seemed worn, floors on 2nd level squeaked, trim a little dusty.

Nicest staff ever!

Front desk was helpful. Cleaning crew missed my room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Room was close to the bar and very noisy. Usually have a much better experience there. Will still go back based on previous experiences.
