The experience was excellent.

The most pet friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The property was charming and nostalgic with an atmosphere that felt communal and friendly. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our dog was completely at ease. The dog park was well maintained, the pool was lovely, we enjoyed playing bocce ball and eating our breakfast by the fire pits. Highly recommend this hotel for dog owners and families.

Americana is definitely one of those places that you want to return to when you’re in town. Just so unique!

Good location, decent rooms/bed Recommended

I loved the welcoming, chill vibe and theme of the hotel. Convenient location for us. They also had bikes and telescopes available to use. Upon check-in, they provide a brochure with attractions near by, and it led us to a great hike close by! Room was on the smaller side so it felt a bit cramp.

The staff was nice, room as described. They had parking for us with a towed trailer. Not the greatest part of town, but just a few minutes to the downtown area. The A/C was a little loud. Didn’t try the pool or corn hole or bocce - they do have free bikes to use.

Great stay! Fun kitschy rooms. Plush towels and linens. Would stay again.

We booked Americana Motor Inn because the Expedia reviews and photos made it look like a fun, unique place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We reserved a large two-queen room on the first floor through Expedia. At check-in, we were given a second-floor room instead. When I asked about it, the front desk employee told me that when booking online, guests do not get to choose their room or floor. I showed the Expedia listing showing first- and second-floor options, and then showed my receipt clearly confirming a first-floor room. He still said there was “absolutely nothing” he could do, other than offer us a drink, because their system supposedly does not communicate with online bookings. We checked in around 5 p.m., and there were only a few cars in the parking lot, so the lack of effort to help was frustrating. The pool was also closed due to ash in the air, even though another guest complained and it was opened a couple hours later. This place has potential with the hammocks, fire pit, pool, games, and outdoor kitchen, but the poor communication and dismissive front desk experience ruined it for us. We were really looking forward to staying here, but left disappointed. I would not recommend booking through Expedia if you expect your reservation details to be honored. We will not be back.

The property has so many great touches too. We loved relaxing in the hammocks, playing cornhole, and taking the complimentary bikes out for a ride around the area. It gave the hotel such a laid-back, community vibe. A huge shoutout to Mara, the manager! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Her kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made all the difference. If you’re looking for a unique, welcoming place to stay in Flagstaff, especially during Pride, I can’t recommend Americana Motor Hotel enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Lots of outdoor entertainment for the family around the pool area.Delicious food at the snack bar/cafe. Cool, clean, retro decor in the rooms.

Great vibes, good location, and the staff were nice. You have to order housekeeping. Kinda weird, I requested it once and they barely did anything. All they did was make the bed (NOT with new sheets though), and re roll the towels. Nothing was changed out, sink was dirty, counters weren't wiped down, floor wasn't vacuumed. It was basically nothing so not sure whay the point was. Also thin walls. Unfortunately alot of kids were staying near my room and they were loud as hell. Could hear everything through the walls and door.

It was scary

The staff handled all issues immediately

Great service by Cove at the front desk. Ambiance was spot on and the bed was super comfortable! Refrigerator was not cleaned out.
