Very easy and fast check-in. Room was clean, nice and reasonably priced.

Staff was unfriendly and extremey unhelpful at check-in. No rooms ready until exactly 4pm...hmmm...thats odd how that happened...and although I have stayed here before, spent a lot of money at the hotel, restaurant and casino, and drove 8 + hrs to get here. No coffee, water and not even a crappy complimentary beakfast. They stuck me by the elevator/stairs and it was noisy and uncomfortable. There are a LOT of other options beside staying at an overpriced, low budget hotel.

Everything was good until I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a bed bug there next to me. Next day I went to take a shower and sure enough there was another one during the day on the bed and even the shower curtain had more. It is a good place to go spend some time and their food is amazing but the hotel side isn’t appealing to me anymore. The casino ain’t bad at all you loss what you can afford or even come on the upside, staff was wonderful can’t complain about them at all

It would have been nice if their advertising mentioned that smoking is allowed, Then I wouldn't have driven there in the first place.

If you’re in need of a place to stay because you have driving fatigue, I suggest skipping here and going the extra 35 min to Sioux Falls or 20 min to Brookings. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

The hotel could be really wonderful, except for the smoky smell. It is so strong, that I could smell it on my pajamas when I unpacked at home. We did not spend any time in the casino. The strong smell was in our actual hotel room. It is too bad, because otherwise the place is really nice.

Was a nice overnight place to stay while traveling out of town. Did some gambling and had 2 meals on-site. Nothing too spectacular worth returning for. Was looking g forward to the Crab buffet, but turns out it is only the 3rd Friday of every month, so missed out. Don't see me ever getting back to that part of rhe country again,so that is too bad. All the employees there were very nice and helpful.

Our stay was great. Very quiet so slept very well. The room was very clean and staff filled our supplies the following day. So very happy with our stay and certainly will return.

We loved our stay at Royal River Casino. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfy, the food was delicious and the hot tub so relaxing!! The casino was good to us as well. Oh and the gift shop, nice, we made a purchase from there, overall, we are happy we got to stay at a decent place for our business trip here. We will be back, for sure. And Royal River Casino is our choice!!

Staff was wonderful, especially Brenda & Kathy at the guest services desk. Eight of us stayed at your hotel/ casino to celebrate my sisters 70th. They made it super special, even announced a special Happy Birthday to her. They helped us to join the rewards program and how to play the machines. We enjoyed the snack bar very much, and the buffet. We also enjoyed the Bellamy Bros concert. Everything was great. Thank you very much.
