Everything was comfortable and pleasant but the hotel itself felt rather outdated and basic. The water pressure for the shower was outstanding. And the location was great for proximity to old downtown with several shops and restaurants. I would stay here again if I’m on a tight budget but if you’re looking for luxury I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

The location to Old Town Folsom is great. Walkable to there and the river. Great staff. The rooms, lobby, hallway, restaurant and bar are pretty worn down and haven’t been updated since the 90s. 30 years of wear and tear is tough to cover up, not to mention just poorly aged furniture. Nothing is gross or broken but feels a little Goodwill. I would return for the location but damn updates are needed.

Location is great. No river views though. Many good food options within walking distance. Right next to the American River trail for walking or biking and lots of amenities and recreation nearby. The hotel feels dated inside but things were all clean and working. Queen beds were extra firm. Missed having coffee maker in the room but several coffee shops next to the hotel. Did not try the restaurant. Pretty safe area and parking seemed secure.

One of our rooms woke up to a good amount of water coming through the ceiling in the bathroom in the middle of the night, because the jacuzzi room above overflowed. The ceiling looked unsafe. They had to move all of their stuff and their sleeping child. We got an apologies and a room move. Would have expected some sort compensation or at least a managers outreach. The second room walked into a room that smelled like pee. We got another apologies and a room as well. As a hotel thats hosts weddings, when I asked about champagne flutes the team member had no idea what we were asking for and another guest asked about a steamer and the hotel did not have one. These could have just been random occurrences but just an apology is really not enough for a paying guest.

Absolutely love it here

The hotel is old and could use some heavy renovations. Carpet in both common areas and in room, old, needs to be replaced. Terrible odor in common areas of the third floor smelled like cleaning supplies and urine. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from other rooms including their bathroom use. Hotel is in a great spot but they sorely need to invest in maintaining the property and updating.

Very pleasant hotel pretty n clean fun wedding event. Fun Main Street Farmer Market shopping. We were hungry all the time there- wish there was an available cafe or close by cafe.

I have stayed here many times while visiting family. This is a comfortable, old school family-owned hotel with a nice bar, friendly staff, and comfy beds a very short walk from the Old Folsom tourist area and a stroll along Lake Natoma, The rooms are not fancy but they are just fine, the rates are competitive, and I always feel welcome and relaxed here. The breakfast served (both buffet and full menu) is very good but not included with the room. Everything I have ordered from the bar-type food menu offered in the evenings has been tasty with generous servings. Check it out if you want to relax in Folsom!

Our stay was fabulous and the surrounding were just beautiful. We will definitely be staying again.

I was there 3 days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in July. Across the street there was free live music outside on Thursday in walking distance. A lake fed by the American River with walking trails etc. ect. I highly recommend Lake Natoma Hotel in Folsom, California.

Our stay here was generally okay, and the only problem we had was our reservation, made about 3 months in advance, was switched from 2 queen beds to one king. We managed fine, just expected to receive the room we reserved. They passed it off as a 3rd party error, but I suspect they just juggled us for their own convenience.

Location was awesome

Very noisy. Could hear doors opening closing all night. The room was clean. The air-conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent.

Very cute boutique hotel in a gorgeous setting. Not a lot of tv options, but who is watching tv with the river just a short walk away. We always enjoy our stay, the beds are comfortable, food is a short walk across the street along with Sutter Street shopping. Close drive to Sacramento or to the Casinos, lots of great activities for families, couples or solo adventurers.

Room was crisp and clean, staff was friendly and the pool and hot tub were so nice to relax in. Can't wait to visit again. This place is always amazing.
