Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina

Check-in was the best I’ve ever had, the gentleman that checked us in was super helpful and ever so informative. He explained everything and left nothing to think about. Captiva Room was so nice, very clean and head everything we could ask for. Property was well maintained and had so many activities and all was included. Ate dinner at Rae’s restaurant which was delicious. Great way to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

We have been here twice now and absolutely love it! Breakfast is amazing. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Tons of activities for the kids. The only thing you have to watch is if you book through Expedia resort fees are supposed to be included and I still got billed from pink shell it’s self after our stay. Will be calling tomorrow about that.

Loved everything about the Pink Shell!

Our room in the main building was updated, spacious and clean. The location is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was good overall. There were two more restaurants apart from the breakfast buffet on the property serving american food.and Italian food.

The Pink Shell was nice but there were way too many kids. The solution to that was to go to the adult pool which was fine but the walk to the pool from the Captiva Villas is ridiculous! To have to go through the main building and walk past 2 other pools, screaming kids, and a maze of people because you have a fence around the property is ridiculous. Most of the people at the pool were complaining. Love the bracelet idea, but you need to make a gate use the bracelet to open the gate. I understand you had people who aren't guests swimming in the pool but if you have a gate it still keeps unwanted guests out. The door slamming is another thing I can do without. The kids slamming doors all day long. The rooms were nice and spacious and very clean. I understand the concept of the screened in balconies but we would rather it be open, hurts your eyes looking through a screen for long periods of time. The towels, beach umbrellas and chairs were a nice amenity. Not sure if we would stay again or not, maybe not before a holiday.

Friendly staff

The view from our room was perfect and we enjoyed the spacious room. The staff were very kind and helpful. This is a kid friendly place so if you want a quiet place for adults they may not be it.

We had literally the best time here. So family friendly, the food was awesome, literally steps to their restaurant, pool and beach. Incredible views and our room was outstanding and overlooked the water. We will DEFINITELY be back.

I set this up for my parents for my mom's birthday they stayed 2 nights and had the most wonderful time. The villa faced the pool and ocean, my mom described it as an apartment with everything you need. They loved the free breakfast and all the options included. They were able to enjoy both the beach and pool and loved the proximity of everything. They had a blast getting pitchers from the bar. All in all they had a wonderful time, were allowed an earlier check in and enjoyed their stay.

Breakfast staff was fantastic - Kyle, Danielle and young guy who was saying he just bought a house - sorry didn’t get your name ! But entire staff was great!!!

Everyone was very friendly and they keep you entertained. The food wasn't the best but we had a great time.

One of our favorite places to go to will be back again soon
