I’m not happy about this because it’s not the room I reserved.

I had a wonderful stay everything was perfect.

Room 214. It was a good two nights rest with comfortable pillows and nice mattress. The room carpet was not clean and the room had some significant damage/wearing in particular a guest(s) damaged the wall and office chair using the office chair probably to watch tv. The main issue is, why not replace the chair and fix the very bad damage? The cleaning staff has damaged the hallway exterior doors, walls and corners making for a very poor first impression upon entering the hallways. The staff needs training that rehearses their use of their carts through hallways and entry into rooms. The doors need to be repainted immediately and larger kick plates added. Once in the room they cleaned very well and did a good job and we tipped them for good work. Overall the full experience was ok to fair for the price and the breakfast was ok.

Staff is very helpfull, however the hallways and the room smell bad due to the carpet.

The exterior of the building was nice; however, the inside is another story. The second floor hallway carpet is stained and smells. Every door on the floor was scuffed and dirty. Our room walls were scuffed and chipped. The hot tub was not available to use and we were not notified that it would not be available to use. The pool lounge chairs were filthy. The elevator carpet was also stained. My fiancé used the stairs rather than the elevator and said it smelled disgusting. I contemplated leaving because I was questioning the cleanliness of this place. There were stray cats all over the property. I’m very disappointed int stay here and I have never had a bad stay at a La Quinta location. This place was just gross over all. The fitness room literally has no weights in it.

The room was clean and well taken care of. The a/c worked well and the staff was helpful. Also, the charge for internet use was not outrageous, which was nice.

The hotel and property were both clean. Easy access to the freeway and staff were polite and helpful!

I was convenient to where I needed to be in Selma. I appreciated the nearby restaurants.

The staff was pleasant and the lobby was nice. I can tell this was once a nice hotel, but it needs a face lift. The entire hallway on the second floor was dinged up. Our room had numerous stains on the carpet and furniture, as well as an office chair that had netting hanging on by a thread. The walls were banged up and the mattress in the pull out couch was laughably thin, with a comically large sheet to go over it. This place was fine, but I would maybe leave your shoes on at all times…

The building itself was really run down. Lot's of repair on walls and molding. Very dirty
