Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frankfort by IHG

Bathroom toilet did not work properly, towels rough,TV did not work front desk clerk did not know how to tell us how to set.

I liked the location of the hotel. The rest left a lot to be desired. The elevator sounded like it was going to fail, there were stains all over the ceiling from apparent roof leaks, the room had a slight odor that never went away, the carpet looked dirty, and we had issues at check-in. The staff tried to send us to a double room despite paying extra for a king. Had to get the staff to let us into our room as the door was stuck. We thought someone was still inside with the latch locked because of the force it took to open the door. Got sent to a second room when we mentioned the bed issue, and after waiting, got sent to a king room that had not been cleaned. Finally sent to a third room with a king bed, and found the aforementioned issues with cleanliness.

Extremely friendly staff. Very solid breakfast. (Way more offering than seems to be the norm now). Clean rooms. Very solid holiday inn express stay.

Very clean, well-maintained room and bathroom, nice staff, and good breakfast.

The only negative experience was that the toilet was not functioning properly in our room. We told the front staff and they informed us that no maintenance staff was available but that they would look at it to see if they could fix it. When we returned later in the day we went to our room and could tell someone had been there but toilet was still not functioning properly. When we informed front staff that the toilet was still not fixed they offered to move us to another room but due to us leaving the next morning we opted to decline the offer. Our stay here was overall good other than the toilet issue. Also the freshly baked cookies we were offered each evening was a nice touch. We would return if we are in the area again.

pretty decent hotel in a location with not many options. This has been the best place in Frankfort so far.

Nice clean room, larger than expected. Staff was pleasant. Nice breakfast. There was a nice looking pool area, but I personally did not use it.
