Hampton Inn & Suites Fremont

Good location and easy to get around. I like the consistency of Hampton Inns and this one is convenient to an annual event I attend each year in the area. The staff is always good, the facility is quiet, breakfast is consistent and the rooms are in great condition

Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food offered. Bathtub seemed unsupported and creaked when moving in shower

Clear the room of insects.

The price is more than I usually feel comfortable spending per night....but I can see that you get what you pay for. Some of the staff were (obnoxiously) loud, which seemed out of sync with the rest of the experience.

the swimming pool is out of service, but you can use the hotel next door, the hotel is being remolded but with minor inconvenience

No toilet paper and shampoo

Facility is undergoing a remodel and there is construction debris everywhere, pool and other facilities closed. Only second and third floor rooms available and they are charging $200+ a night. Most disappointing is that there is no information on website or vendor sites providing information and you become aware only upon arrival. Place so dirty and disruptive that we refused to stay.

Stayed in a newly renovated room- very nice

People, workers doing renovations screaming outside the door. Someone grilling fish in their room, made my room smell horrible. I didnt stay. I checkedout 30 minutes after checking in.

No plows ever came to the property and the building is undergoing construction. Both of these made coming/going and parking a hassle and getting into the facility through the snow buildup. Ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to go back downstairs to get some ice. The elevator was very loud and would shake/vibrate while going up and down, very sketchy feeling. Mold was forming on the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower. Breakfast on the second morning, specifically the egg and cheese "omelet" was disgusting. Breakfast was limited because of the storm and staff not able to make it in but was to be expected.

Not made aware certain amenities were not available due to renovations.

Clean and friendly service

The breakfast area was nice and clean and the food was good. Our room was clean and as advertised. There was NEVER anyone at the front desk any time we were there. We had to wait several minutes to check in and out as the person was behind some closed door. She was also very sarcastic with me when I asked about the charge to my card for “incidentals”. She said “well I guess you don’t travel much, do you?” Yes I do but I have never had a hold placed on my card for that and I wanted to know what incidentals were, it’s not like we had a mini-bar or anything. I did not appreciate being spoken to like that! I will say the breakfast lady was VERY friendly!

Fix the bathroom ceiling: it is gross. Enforce no smoking policy. Dog barking late at night and early in the morning inside of the hotel was annoying

Leaving the facility Out Of Service Signs abound here - delayed repairs evident.
