Language barrier with the cleaning stuff was quite irritating. Place needs remodeled and cleaned a whole lot better

Only stayed a short while, got in at 3 am out by 10. The lady checking me in at 3 am seemed bothered and annoyed I was there. The day staff was much friendlier. Breakfast was not great. Small continental selection and no orange juice at all. It is older some of hallway carpets were stained some. Beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure and super hot. No elevator and you have to walk a ways to get to some rooms. It was a little expensive for what you get. I should have driven to monmouth and stayed at the super 8 and saved 50 for the night

I didn't stay here. I talked to the guy at the front desk when I checked out. I hope we weren't charged for this .

The guy at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was fresh and clean. Breakfast was good. It was very easy to park very close to our room. Our room was also close to where I could take the dog out for walks. Will go to Best Western again when I visit my Dad.

The room was very clean and comfortable, although the air conditioner was very loud. It is an older building, but well maintained. The continental breakfast was very good and has a large seating area. The area is a little out of the way, but has nice grounds and very quiet.

‼️‼️⚠️ The manager and staff are racist and rude! Very unprofessional! My stay and experience has turned me off to any future bookings. In 2026, on Juneteenth and being in town for a funeral I was treated like a criminal and had authorities called on me and my family. DONT BOOKK HERE GO TO THE HOLIDAY INN‼️⚠️

Highly recommend as an AFFORDABLE option. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing (hot and plentiful). The grounds and buildings are “vintage” in a cute way, although the landscaping is a little sad. I thought I might walk to Hy-Vee (grocery store) to pick up something for supper, but there weren’t any sidewalks. The location is tucked out of the way, which I found to be pleasant while not feeling unsafe.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the hotel was very clean and easy to access.

I'm never sure if the staff appreciate people using online services like this. The guys at the desk were polite, but not friendly. They assured me that I could have a room on the ground floor. The room they put us in was longer than a full block walk down at least 4 corridors to the end of the last one. We were walking past many conference rooms. I was dropping my bag and finally abandoned it so I could find the room, then went back. It's not that we had so much with us, it was carrying the water bottles and my work stuff from the car. Speaking of water, their water tasted terrible. Thus the need to give each person a bottle of water. Ice had a horrible smell and taste. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was usual make your own waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, and good breakfast potatoes. Many kids there that day. They were not a problem. In the same situation I would stay again but would use the one luggage cart to get my stuff to the room.
