Second, you should know that the beautiful pool advertised on the site is not one that you have access to. That is only for their preferred guests, who are staying in their location across the street. Now, there is a pool that is open until 10; and it is fine. It is a normal hotel pool. There’s nothing wrong, and nothing exciting, about it. Third, and maybe you already know and are better prepared, but the mosquitoes are AWFUL! I must have gotten bit 15+ times just sitting at the pool in the evening. I’m not sure that the farm next to the pool helped the cause of not getting bit, but my word, they were relentless. Fourth, there are no elevators at the villas, so just be prepared to carry your luggage. The structure is on stilts, it makes sense that there aren’t elevators; but it’s nice to know that ahead of time to manage expectations. All of that being said, the rooms are a nice size and have most of the amenities that you would want - we did run out of body wash in both bathrooms and they brought mini bar soaps. The beach access is from the location across the street. Drive there.

This was our third time to stay at the Holiday Club Vacation Seaside Galveston. We really enjoy the two bedroom arrangement. It gives plenty of room for my family of five. Highly recommend this location through October.

Our overall stay was amazing! Having the beach right there, pool available, and villa all so close was perfect for our family of 6. Our check-in process wasn’t the best. We had bags of trash outside our room and our door was open - as if they were currently cleaning. But no one was in the room or nearby. The trash bags had ripped, either from someone rolling over them or an animal - so the whole stay there was food remains (chicken bones and dried food) outside our door. The resort did give us a $50 credit to use, which was a nice gesture! The rooms were really nice, our curtains had stains but it wasn’t a huge deal. Like I said, overall amazing stay. Few minor things, but we’d definitely return!

The view was beautiful seeing the ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings.

Was bombarded with a huge sales pitch that was ridiculous and time consuming at time of checkin. Charged three additional fees that amounts to ~ $200. Very disappointed!

There is no swimming pool

Great location, a bit down from Galveston.

The signature villa was great for our little family trip! Spacious and comfortable, The huge plus was the walking distance to the beach! The infinity pool is also super nice. We'll definitely be coming back!

Beds were noisy, air-conditioning worked ok. The bathtubs were not cleaned and still had sand in them. The elevators need a look at to, they were missing the floor and started to drop quit unexpectedly.

Beautiful property, we always come back to this spot...its a gem!!!

Property was nice , the only thing I can say negative was that the pictures promoting the property we very different for where we stayed . You can only access the beautiful infinity pool if you rent a room in the signature section across the street . I would a say making that more clear would be helpful.

Do your research! We did not stay at the hotel they pictured, nor were we able to swim at the gorgeous pool they pictured. We were on the resort side, which was fine, but Expedia was very deceiving in what we were getting. We drove 15 hours for this trip and were extremely disappointed.

Great customer service

Instead, we were placed in rooms across the street from the beach with a standard pool and no direct beach access. To make matters worse, I was traveling with my elderly mother and father, and we were assigned a suite on the third floor of a building with no elevator, making it extremely difficult for them. The mosquito problem was also overwhelming. We were constantly being bitten throughout the property, making it very uncomfortable to spend time outside. The following day, I attempted to call the front desk four separate times, but no one answered. Given the combination of misleading information, poor accommodations, and lack of customer service, we decided to check out after just one night. This experience was extremely disappointing and did not reflect what was advertised or what we expected when booking our stay.

very nice and memorable stay .. great beach view... easy access to beach.. overall excellent stay.. whole family enjoyed the stay... had a great time.

One half of our 2 bedroom unit was not habitable. Staff was very professional and we made one bedroom work. Rooms are spacious and we are likely to return. It was just bad luck

This resort was awful. We got there and were told that the main pool and access to the beach were not accessible. Beware of the extra fees they want to charge you as that added another 130$ to the trip. The rooms were big but not clean and hair was all over the room. The location was terrible with nothing within a 15-20 minute drive of the resort. I highly recommend you look at other places. This was such a disappointment and we ended up leaving after the first day as it was that bad. On top of that the resort was so spread out that it was a 10-15 minute walk (through mosquito infested grass) to the main pool and any amenities. The pool was not clean. The best part might have been the fact that there are cows right next to the property. At least there was something nice to look at. So frustrating and such a waste of money. You will regret booking this property.

Room was clean with the exception of the hairs that were in the beds when we arrived. The TV’s did not work and had to get service for this and to fix the broken door so it would close. Also had to have them reset both beds and then the fire alarms went off multiple times anyone showered or the balcony door was open too long. When we called, they did take us seriously and attempted to correct these things but was inconvenienced with so much staff in and out. We had 5 people in the room at one time just on the first day. They compensated by allowing us to use the “nicer” pool (which I didn’t know was “signature” and required special rooms or $. All in all we were able to enjoy the time but it was not close to ideal.
