When using a third party it can be confusing if you want to be able to use the infinity pool and swim up bar you must make sure your room is in the signature room. Otherwise they have other rooms like Villa and so otherwise the property is wonderful. Great people we had a blast.

I liked the pool, the room was comfy, spacious. Good service. I felt the game room and complimentary activities were over hyped online and needed TLC on site. More games for the arcade, more activities in the club room would be nice. They advise there's two pools but you can't use one of them if you're not in the exclusive villas just a little let down once there See above

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here at this Holiday Inn Vacation Club. It's always good to come to a familiar place like Holiday Inn, and the products are consistent.The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was that the elevator was not working in the building we were in. I'm unsure why this was the case, particularly since the first floor is actually the building's second floor and is already raised. It was a considerable number of stairs for 65-year-olds to navigate daily.

Dirty bathrooms, towel ladies very rude.

The view from the front door towards the refinery in the distance. Having a balcony, a large shower and toilet. Aircon was really welcomed. The seclusion of the location. Trying to be upsold on other products by the ihg group at check in. The rooms had poor soundproofing, especially of the upstairs neighbours and the common area. Beds were firm/ hard mattresses and pillows were poor. Water pressure in the shower was lacking. View from the rear balcony of the garbage disposal area will be unforgettable. Can't complain about the distances from Galveston or Lake Jackson as it was already established upon booking.

Loved the infinity pool! I also loved the easy access bridge that goes directly to the beach. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything needed to cook & bake. Beds were comfortable too but I spent most of my time on the beach. I will definitely come back.

How clean and so many activities to do Pool closing time is at 10:00pm

Hotel was awesome. We enjoyed our stay and the location we enjoyed the pool at the property. We also enjoyed the pool in the property that is connected to it, but you have to be careful because if you book through Expedia, you do not have access to the pool that overlooks the beach unless you are a member of the club they allowed us to go with a free day pass because we got lucky because we complained about the miscommunication and the false advertisement, but besides that we liked our stay

I rate this place the lowest possible because I made a reservation through Expedia but when I got there my room was not available. Someone was already checked in since the day before. The registration attendant said that all villas in the signature line were occupied. They offered me a room in the other side of the property which was not ocean view and we would not have access to the infinity pool or all the other amenities that the signature suites have. I declined the offer. They said I would notify Expedia to issue a full refund without penalty. When I contacted Expedia for a refund they refused to refund my money first because they didn’t hear from the hotel that I did not stay there. When they called the hotel to inquire on my claim that they did not have a room available, the hotel staff said they offered me a comparable room in the place of the one I made the reservation for. Now I have a $500 dollar charge for a room I did not receive. I had to find alternative place to book for the night. A one night stay turned into a nightmare and cost me $900. I will be filing a formal complaint on the hotel as well as Expedia through the BBB in hopes to get my money back.

The staff were amazing, especially Ray the manager. Our beautiful signature photo of four generations and a relaxing time spent with family at the Holiday Vacation seaside resort a hallmark experience.

Room was spacious and overall nice for our family of 5. Property grounds could use some serious tlc, though. Check in was not smooth and was really frustrating. Our plans had changed and we called ahead to let the hotel know we wanted to keep our reservation 'as is' and that we would just be arriving a day later. They said they understood and would make a note on our reservation, though when we arrived our family had been marked as a "no show" and our room had been given to another group. Eventually was made right, but was not an amazing experience.
