Palms Inn

Flies, flies, flies…. The room had tons of flys. Didn’t use the shower as it was questionable. Slept ok on the bed tho and the front office person was helpful. Got a weird “room service” knock on our door at like 9:30pm… didn’t open it… that was kinda freeky.

Not what was expected, room pretty small and bathroom had no outlets to use straightener.

Swimming pool, ice, simple breakfast

I stayed at this hotel twice. Both times were excellent.

Convenient with COLD A/C. Several dining options that could be walkable, but we drove in 100°+ heat. Room does not have any desk if you want to do work, but perfect for a night's sleep on the road.

The location at small town of Gila Bend was ideal due to my trip from Tucson airport via back way, bypassing Phoenix area to go to Prescott/Jerome/Cottonwood area. The motel is small, & I like parking right in front of the room door. The motel is a bit dated, but it did have a nice shower without a high tube to step over. Which is a big advantage to an older person… I did not eat breakfast there as breakfast provided is the minimum. But Sofia’s Mexican Food restaurant, nearby at 530 Pima Street; had excellent breakfast & also dinner/lunch options.

Nothing fancy with this place but served its purpose and the price was fair.

Nice room clean room it’s nice

I really enjoyed the stay me and my two young girls had there. It was for one night cause I made the mistake of not booking ahead of time for two nights which was fine. Staff was helpful and patient and understanding. And were kind and even engaged in conversation, which was wonderful cause I’m from a different state. Was excited to try the outdoor pool, but we didn’t get a chance to utilize it. The air conditioning works and was great and our room was very clean.

Shower didn't work properly, wifi lost signal connection constantly.

Check-in was quick and easy. Owner/manager(?) was polite, professional and suggested possible supper places. The buildings are a bit old and tired but it is apparent the owners are doing their best to keep everything clean and in working condition. Although we didn't use it, the pool looked very inviting and clean. "Breakfast" isn't served until 7 am and is a condensed version of the continental breakfasts served at chain hotels. We just went down to the road to McDonalds. Beds are comfortable - I had a good night's sleep even though the room faced the highway and the A/C ran all night (good white noise). So, if you're traveling and just need a place to rest your head - this would be a good place to do it.

Nice location. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lovely pool. Can park right at your door. The breakfast was disappointing. Last year when we stayed here they had toast and raisin bran. But now they only had fruit loops or frosted flakes and no toast. But breakfast is included in the price which was good value.

Quaint roadside experience with a great air-conditioner. Plenty of sun and a cool pool. The breakfast provided was minimal.

Clean and well laid out. Everything worked. AC was cold. Would recommend

Good place for an overnight rest on the road. Comfortable bed.

If you are hungry by driving long this place has light food 24/7 and help me relax time after long drive

Clean room, they have parking for trucks, and food is in walking distance.

Easy parking. Pool looks clean but I didn’t go in.

The room was clean and comfortable. Older motel but still safe and convenient location on our journey. We like to stay in motor inns where we park right in front of the room and there is not a second floor, and this fit that description perfectly. The room and bathroom were quite small, however they still had a microwave and small fridge.

Very quiet location. No loud neighbors. No complaints.
