The accommodations were clean and quiet.
-
We rented a three bedroom house and had to share it with mice

Nice Pool, Clean Room, Comfortable Beds Restaurant With Awesome Food, That Overlooks Kentucky Lake. I Would Definitely Recommend For A Quiet & Relaxing Getaway. A Small Refrigerator & Microwave would Be Useful in The Rooms, but They Do Have An option to Rent Refrigerator Daily. I Will Return for Future Stays.

Great, inexpensive, clean, well maintained, friendly staff and i was even able to bring my 12 lb furry girl!

Air conditioner was loud and leaked, the phone didn’t work and there was no instruction on check in as to the cleaning schedule- turns out there was none. No one came by to give us fresh towels, or sheets the entire week. The water had a milky white consistency. The power went out for hours on Friday, finally came back on at 2 am after a very uncomfortable evening of 90 degree weather and no air conditioning. Me and my husband got food poisoning Saturday evening from what had to be the fried chicken at Harbor lights since that’s the only thing the both of us ate. We are still sick and miserable from what must of been rancid or under cooked chicken. This is the first time Harbor lights has really disappointed me, been coming for a few years and it was just not good this time. Had breakfast a few days ago and it was pretty poor, but we chalked it up to the restaurant not being busy at all and the food sitting out too long. Overall the place is nice, and good value for the price.

Staff was amazing. It’s an older building and the rooms had multiple doors to the outside which meant we had a few critter visitors that would come in when walking in and out. Good news was that they obviously spray for bugs because they did not live long once they passed the threshold of the door. Property is in a beautiful location, the pool is nice and the beds were clean. Would have loved to try dinner at the restaurant as that was our plan on our one night driving through but it was closed apparently for the night we were staying. No Door Dash drivers anywhere nearby so don’t attempt that. My kids and I were exhausted and didn’t want to get back in the car but ended up having to do so anyways. Overall okay stay.

The rooms are outdated, no little refrigerator or microwave, there was no security bar on the door or a peep hole, had the TV wide open and couldn't hear it. Loved the convenience by the lake, the buffet had decent food.

I stay at Kentucky Dam lodge on a regular basis and have never had a problem. On my most recent stay the water went out in the area. After being gone all day, I came back to a flooded room. Maintenance came and sucked up all the water and used their industrial carpet cleaner. They said the toilet had been stuck with the handle down and the pressure of the water coming back on was the issue. Maintenance did not check inside the tank. The next morning the room was flooding again. When I checked inside the tank, someone had made a repair inside the tank with what looked like electrical tape and the toilet was spraying water inside the tank all night, at the lid, and water was coming out from under the tank lid. When I went to check out and reported the problem, I would have thought that I should have gotten some sort of apology for the fact that they didn't actually fix the problem. In retrospect, I should have changed rooms, but since it was my last night, it seemed like too much effort. Especially since they assured me that everything was ok and that they had gotten all of the water sucked up out of the carpet. I will still probably stay here in the future and hope that this was just a weird isolated incident.

The stay was fine. Could use some upgrades. Our room was full of crickets and ants, but it wasn’t so bad that we complained. The beds are a little small, but the staff was amazing. We would stay again for sure.

if you end up on the lower level of the village, you are more than likely have lots of dead bugs. (at least they are dead) and spiders. There was hair in the bathtub. No soap, shampoo, etc..

Beautiful view! Nice walking paths. The buffet at their restaurant was really good. We had an issue with our ac in our room. The staff was concerned and took care of it ASAP.

View was excellent. Room was slightly dated, but was very clean. There were a few ants on vanity near sink. Possibly got in from screen door at balcony. We loved having the balcony, but it needs a deep cleaning. Restaurant was excellent.

We liked being able to stay with our dog for a $50 charge. We stayed in a double room and the beds were clean and comfortable (full size beds). We wished the rooms had mini fridges and a microwave. Pool looked nice but we couldn’t swim in it due to the storms. Under the beds really need to be cleaned. Overall good price for a quick overnight on our way home from Florida. The grounds looked beautiful and it would be fun to fish here.

We was in a cabin so we was not at the hotel. But it was good.
-
No parking available with flies inside the outdated cottage.
-
the restaurant in the basement was ok but expensive! no continental breakfast.
-
Cottages were somewhat secluded and well equipped. Perfect location.
-
Pool area is great and plenty of places to walk and fish right out the lodge room door. Wish the beds were queens and not full and had a small fridge but other than that it’s always been a great place to stay and price is nice.
