100% amazing from the staff, room, view. Only one thing missing was small refrigerator in the room

Pool was closed and parking is terrible and no free breakfast

The reception area is very nice, the pool and view of the water is what they promoted and it is a great view. However, when you can't use the pool and we were not notified prior to arrival that this was the case, you then focus on the rooms. Not good, because our first room was poorly maintained, sheets have a thread count of about 7, so scratchy, patio needs a good power washing and don't leave cigarettes on it. With proper maintenance like a working pool and bring the rooms up to the standard of the reception this place has potential. Unfortunately, for us it was the worst part of our vacation and upset the plans we had made.

One of my wife’s and my favorite getaways! We spend weekends here as often as we can to revel in the beauty of Kentucky Lake, see wildlife everywhere, eat great food at the on-premise restaurant, swim in the sparkling-clean pool, breathe fresh air, and just relax!

Everything was as promised and expected. The staff are amazing.

The 2 bedroom cabin we rented was excellent. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting all the nearby attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

night stand in room and some mold residue on it on the sides where had been in humidity....so furniture needs extra attention Even the doors had mildew on sides. Bathroom door where humidity damaged Im assuming

It would be better if there was a fridge.

There was also suspected mold and mildew- on the Art in the room, all over the shower and the bathroom ceiling, the grout in the shower and there was mold and or mildew also will small hairs on the waterproof shower curtain. The pillows were also uncomfortable. I was visiting family from out of state. When I showed them the photos I took- they were not happy that I stayed there and said I could have just slept at their house. Looking back- that’s exactly what I should have done. Overall- I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

The first room given smelled so musty and moldy we couldn't breathe and our eyes, noses and throats were burning in 10 min. Second room smelled better but we still went to a local store and bought air freshener and lysol. Everything very outdated. Carpet floors were filthy. Bugs and dirt all over bathroom. Hair on sink. Door didn't seal as we could see light coming in. Restaurant food was cold and overcooked or undercooked. Poo l was closed. Worst place we've ever stayed.

Restaurant is awesome!

The check-in process at the front desk was efficient. Lodge rooms are both comfortable and functional. Private balconies or patios attached to the rooms look over Kentucky Lake, providing a scenic backdrop for remote work.

Our room was less than clean. Hair on the inside of the ice bucket. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper fir 2 people staying 2 nights and NO OTHER ROLLS AVAILABLE. Coffee in room available for 1 day only. Mold on ceiling. Pool was broken down an unavailable. If I had known no pool available I would have stayed elsewhere. Restaurant had poor A/C and only 1 server.

We absolutely love the three nights we stayed there… Looking out at the lake was spectacular and we appreciated the private porch to sit outside before the mosquitoes got us! Ha-ha!!

There was not one negative comment that I could think of. One the best State Parks in Kentucky!

The room was clean and efficient and the staff was friendly and helpful we did not eat there and we did not have a balcony the view was nice and it was quiet and peaceful

We only stayed for one night. We walked along the lake, which was beautiful very scenic place.

The room itself was nice but there were a couple of concerning issues. The air return for the room was surrounded with something black. The shower curtain had weird spots that looked like mold or mildew. The bed was awful. Hard and lumpy. Gave me back and hip aches. The balcony was beautiful overlooking the lake. The grounds are neatly kept. The dinner buffet was $25 and not stellar. Vegetables were swimming in oils. We did not go back for breakfast. No fridge in rooms. Front desk staff sweet and helpful.

Overall good stay for the price. Outside seating areas and room balconies need good cleaning. Overall, entire facility needs updating.
