Great place for family
-
Room was OK. A little run down for the price TBH.

Amazing, restful, high-end place. Justyce at the front desk was amazing, friendly, and kind. A perfect, quiet place to de-stress or to unwind. The vibe says, “relax and enjoy.”

Hotel beautiful, room clean, bed very comfortable and staff exceptional.

The lodge is huge but the rooms are small. The highlight of this place is the Nordic Spa. We were amazed at how cool that was. Hot tubs, pools, cold plunge pools, saunas and steam rooms all over the forest. We had a great time there. The grill/bar was good and we had a great stay there.

This resort is lovely. Wonderful location with several hiking options right from the resort. Amenities such as fitness center and pool were great. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had one bad experience at one of the property's restaurants, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Not enough parking and the overflow parking is a bit of a walk.

Beautiful property with many ammenities

Beautiful, huge property. Very quiet for sleeping. Did not use the pool but there is one there and they recommend making a reservation for pool time as limited number of people allowed at a time. Overall nice stay and pretty location.

Highly recommend going up the mountain for dinner. The bar seating was the only reservation available but it was perfect and the views were spectacular.

Unclear on making reservations for breakfast. Should have been told. The hostess was inefficient when seating us. Didn't call us,

Very lovely resort in the most beautiful place! My son and I stayed for one night on our way to Seward. The room was nicely maintained and the beds were comfortable. The blackout curtains did the job! We ate dinner at A Bar and it was cozy and the food (halibut fish and chips) was really good. The next day, we did the breakfast buffet and it was worth it for the reindeer sausage, pastries, and yogurt bowls. We would absolutely stay again!

Hotel was amazing. We had a normal room, but it was super nice. No amenity book in the room but everything was online which I missed since I wasn't there to be online. Pool looked great but found it too late. Tram was awesome, but bloody expensive. Food was awesome but pricey. Breakfast wasn't included but all the high end places never include it, but we had food with us. This was the only night we didn't pre-book and took a gamble on finding something. Walk in price was completely terrifying at over $800, so I booked online real quick and got it for half that much. Still was too pricey for a normal room. I'd call it a $300 room but it was packed so why not gouge the heck out of everyone.

So worth getting this way up in the hills away from Anchorage
