The room was large, and the view off the balcony was AMAZING! This was one of the most convenient places you could stay on the east side of GNP. Staff was attentive and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to the park and would highly recommend it to others.

We stayed in the west motel ( across from the main lodge.) Small but comfortable room, good shower, easy one floor . Less than a mile to park entry . Lovely river next door . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful . No laundry on site . Limited restaurants in area . Hotel great breakfast buffet and amazing cinnamon buns . Dinner so so. Two sisters really good . Good gift store and outfitters store with discount with room key! Easy drives to two medicine .

We were in a motel style room. Simple but clean and convenient

Location and cleanliness were outstanding!

We stayed in the West Motel. Location was wonderful, just at the entrance of Going to the Sun road. In order to get into the room there was a HUGE step into all the rooms. Probably not a good choice if you have mobility issues. Otherwise great choice.

We were put in a separate building across the street from the main St Mary Lodge. The condition was quite run down. The decor is rustic and nice, the bed is comfortable, the towels were great, it was clean, but the room is quite tiny and cramped. The good news is that we parked our vehicle right outside our room. The bad news is that the room has a high step to enter (maybe 10 inches high) and could be a hazard when exiting if you didn't remember to step down. The concrete sidewalk is severely deteriorated and crumbling. Everything needs a coat of paint. We were quite disappointed because we paid a premium price for the room.

We stayed in St. Mary one night before we entered the west entrance to Glacier. We were placed in the Motel across the street from the lodge building. I am not sure that is what I expected but that is what we got. It could have been my lack of knowledge of the property. Word of advice, make sure you know which building you will be in. The room was small and dated. It was clean and convenient to the amenities across the street. It is very convenient to the west entrance to Glacier. We ate at the restaurant. I ordered Rainbow Trout from the menu. What I got tasted and looked exactly like Salmon. When I questioned it the waiter said it was Steelhead Trout. When I searched it on the web it said Steelhead Trout tasted and looked like Salmon. Wish they would have told me first, but it was good and service was good. Overall, it is okay. Not great, but not bad.

Difficult to get to the room from car. The car is parked right in front of the room but steps have no rail to hold. I saw only two (my be) 3 places has steps for the whole block of rooms. One more step to take to get into the room and it is poor design. The room and bath room are small.

We left early because the mattress was too hard for a full night's sleep. The quarters are clean, but tight and dated.
-
Had room with running stream off back deck. Room was big and clean. Would stay again.

Get the cabin! Sitting on the porch next to the river was amazing!

We stayed both here and Many Glacier hotel while in East Glacier. The rooms here were definitely better than Many Glacier. But the view at Many Glacier is much better and there is more wildlife near Many Glacier. However, we were very happy with the accommodations here and would have been fine to stay at St Mary's the entire time and driven to the Many Glacier area as it wasn't a far drive.

St Mary’s Village is a comfortable lodge with everything you could need. The staff was very helpful, the food was good and plenty of shopping too. We highly recommend it!

We had a beautiful stay with 1 small glitch. Had dinner and decided to move to the bar for a few drinks but the server in there was very rude and no one wait on us we we there for 15 min so we left. But please don’t let I bad apple spoil the over all experience! Front desk was phenomenal helped me twice locked my key in the car they called park ranger and they got us going!!! Would recommend this to anyone!
