Terrace Bay Hotel

Our rooms were on the older side of the building. We had a bedroom & couch in the living room with a kitchenette. The rooms were clean. There are no kitchen items to eat or cook with so BYO if you plan on eating in. The patio areas could use a good cleaning. A lot of bugs/ spiders.

Gorgeous views, great rooms, awful well water.

The only downside to this property was if you wanted a late night snack. Otherwise, it was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and the view was gorgeous.

Beautiful location . We just spent 1 night . We did think prices were pretty high for the room and the restaurant ( just checked the menu) . It was very clean , and updated .

Not familiar with aeea or food choices Hotel had nice view, rooms were well done, pool for kids and place to eat ( higher end) but much needed with nothing open in Escanaba ( entire downtown closed roads). Some cell service is limited in surrounding area.

Views from the waterside room were breathtaking.

Nice hotel: comfortable, clean, decent restaurant. However, we did not appreciate the noisy guests running up and down the halls and talking loudly until after 1:00 AM. Having a party in the ballroom is one thing, but disturbing other guests trying to sleep on a Sunday night is not acceptable. It’s downright rude. Not sure we’ll be back again.

I was impressed with the nicely designed furnishings in the room. Everything has a very modern look and but still feels comfortable. I had a room on the lake side and the view is amazing. There is a nice bike/pedestrian path nearby that was great for a morning jog along the lakeshore.

I debated between a suite and the superior room. As we were checking out the desk clerk offered to show me a suite for future reference. It was very nice but on ground level so the view was not as spectacular as the higher elevation, but a suite would be great if you need the extra space and a kitchen. I highly recommend staying here!

It was amazing! Beautiful property and clean rooms very comfortable and great vibe. Best of all were the unbelievable staff who helped my wife decorate our room for my birthday as a surprise. I’ve never met such kind hotel staff in my life

The river view room was amazing. Love sitting on the patio watching the birds on the water. The room is spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Only two things were missing: tissues, and enough outlets to charge electronics.

This is a beautiful new hotel right on the water! Lovely, comfortable room with beautiful views. Also like the Biggby coffee right in the lobby for breakfast!

Our beautiful Lakeside room let us enjoy even the rain storm! With friendly and helpful staff, and a beautiful space to rest and relax, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing location and our 4th floor room over looking the lake was terrific. Even with the smoke from the Canadian fires, I grabbed a coffee from the onsite coffee shop and sat on the balcony overlooking the bay. The pool and the hot tub were in a terrific sunroom overlooking the water and the staff and the restaurant and bar were amazing. The new owners have really done a great job and it is absolutely the nicest place to stay in the area.

The kayaks and bikes you can use for free. We had a great time on the electric bikes!
