There was a fantastic breakfast feast every morning, and a baby grand piano I played in the salon. The rooms were spacious and quaint

Breakfast was great! Very tasty, many selections and plentiful! The grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, so we didn't really get to appreciate them that much... Train whistles (11pm, 4am, etc.) caught us a little off guard.

Great place. Staff was very helpful and nice. Accommodations were excellent and the homemade breakfast was great as well. Will plan to be back.

There is a train nearby and you can hear the train pretty often. We didn't mind, but I think it's worth mentioning since it was pretty loud and pretty often.

I also loved the little touches that made the meal feel special: a fresh bowl of cheese and grapes, a bright and refreshing fruit parfait, and a great cup of coffee to bring it all together. It was the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and savor the moment. The Virginia Cliffe Inn truly knows how to make guests feel welcome, and this breakfast was the perfect start to the day. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Best breakfast I have had at a Bed and Breakfast. Both mornings of our stay had fantastic well prepared options. Staff service was great.

The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the owners were friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and we hope to visit again some day.

Janice is an excellent host. She was there to greet us, help us get acclimated, and she cooked breakfast! She is sweet and kind. Everything was great.

Clean room, great breakfast

The room was lovely and spotless. The grounds are beautiful. Judy does a delicious breakfast! She was very friendly and chatted a bit, which I appreciated since I was the only guest at the table.

Room was exactly as described. Super clean and wonderful amenities. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Can't wait to come back again!

Lovely inn on a gorgeous piece of property with beautiful gardens, and a pond with swans - what could be better?! The hosts are gracious and friendly, as are the kitchen staff. Our bedroom needed a bit more "TLC" in terms of cleaning (no extra toilet paper rolls; leftover food found in a bureau drawer...yuck), but in general, we would book The Virginia Cliffe Inn again in a heartbeat!

Sadly our stay was only one night. A delightful experience.

Beautiful setting. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Andy on the staff was exceptionally helpful in recommending a place for dinner. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Such a charming B&B. The grounds and house are beautiful. The innkeepers have a definite gift of hospitality. The entire house is well kept, clean, and had everything we needed. It was nice to have access to a refrigerator to keep our items cold. Breakfast was delicious.

This family home with a great history is a wonderful stay. Janice and Katherine are exceptionally nice and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay.
