Unfortunately, the age of this motel is showing to the extreme. Bed was lumpy at best, no place to put a suitcase except the floor or bed, no Kleenex. I feel badly for owners that do not have the funds to improve or update their property.

A sweet little motel, friendly owner, clean room. I felt safe. Several miles south there is a riverside park.

We liike motels where you park right outside your room, and don't have to lug your luggage up elevators and down hallways. The owner was helpful and available.

The towels were white and bare thin, like they were 50 years old.

comfortable mom and pop old fashioned style motel. Clean, reasonable price and close to shopping and locations to eat. Used as base camp for visits to West Virginia State Penitentiary.

Finding a clean, well-managed place at a reasonable price was a treat. Forgoing a few inconsequential amenities in exchange for $50 less than I typically shell out for a Choice Hotel was well worth it. A cup of coffee would have been nice.

The location and room were perfect for a quick stop. And the puppy Ozzy at met us at check in was adorable. For the price, we were more than happy with the service and room!

Very nice folks. Actually phoned us to make arrangements for key pick up since we were arriving after staff was gone for the evening. Not much of a room though, very dinky. Not bad if you just need a place to lay your head for a night.

Clean room, good hot shower, quiet place. The people there are very nice—everything you need to start a working day.

We only stayed one night and had a late arrival. They were able to accommodate our arrival time and the room and amenities were clean and in shape. No real complaints. We will likely stay again.
