Holiday Inn Express Gloucester by IHG

My room smelled of mold and mildew.. My bedding felt damp. Staff quickly exchanged linens, but next night, those linens felt damp also. Room smelled moldy the entire trip. Other then that it was fair.

The property has a great all inclusive breakfast and also love the fact that they have an outdoor pool since the neighboring hotel doesn't. I've stayed here in the past when visiting family near by and haven't been disappointed. Also I want to thank the two front desk employees Michelle and Tyrese, for understanding my situation and being super accommodating to my needs. You guys rock!!! See you all again in the near future.

Comfortable Hotel. Older Caucasian woman with intense frowning lip lines who checked me in was so rude. If I hadn't prepaid, I would have just walked out and found another hotel. Also, in 41 years, Ive never had a staff member (same lady), knock on ky door prior to check out (10:50 am for an 11am checkout) and ask if I was still leaving.

I didn't stay .my booking wasn't valid and you took my money after calling the hotel for confirmation I was told I wasn't booked. After giving them my reference also I was told they don't have that reference

The hotel was okay. However, the property is a little dated. Also, I didn’t have a sitting chair in the room. Finally, and I have never experienced this before; but there were no cups in the room!

Great room shower water gets really hot. The elevator was the only drawback . Its old and jerked a bit .. outside of that my stay was perfect

Location They were fixing the pipes so there was no running water when I got there, when it came back on it ran dirty water (I took pictures and a video). The elevator makes terrible sounds and jerks like the cable will break any minute.

Our only real complaint was that the floor in our room wasn't that clean. It seemed a bit sandy underfoot from the get go.

There was no running water when we checked in. We were told it would be fixed in 3 hours. We left for a few hours to have dinner. When we returned, there was cold water only. We called the desk. Someone said the hot water would be repaired the next day. So no showers for us, and no one apologized.

It was terribly inconvenient that the hot water went out on Saturday around 2pm and wasn’t fixed by checkout the next day. We had a wedding to attend. No hot water.

To find the hotel, look for the we dy’s and a sign for ganglion inn is first the. You will see the holiday inn. Hotel was quiet, clean and on a good location.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The breakfast area was nice, but the bathroom in the room had a visible rusted nozzle on the tub, and the ceiling was spackled but left as is.

There was no hot water!

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was modest but clean.

Trash cans were overflowing onto the ground outside. Ac fan in room wont blow correct temp no stop. Had to keep manually changing it. Mattress destroyed my back. Couldn’t sleep. Price 180 night too high in my opinion.

The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was satisfactory and staff was friendly.

There were parking spaces. The food was warm. The staff were competent The bed was stained. There was hair on the bathroom floor. There were stains on the desk.

They didn't clean the room every day.

The breakfast was good, clean hotel and friendly staff. They now do not have paper or plastic cups and No Coffee maker in the rooms and only one Ice machine on the second floor for the entire hotel.
