Very spacious rooms and nice. Watched the stars on our balcony. Food options on premises very convenient.

Excellent location inside the park. Clean and spacious room.

Everything was excellent from the pre-check-in process to check-out. The room was spacious, clean, modern, and included a private balcony. The tour pickups were conveniently located just steps from the accommodations. Leila, Big Al, and Carol provided outstanding service. I had an excellent experience visiting the Grand Canyon.

I really liked that the lodge is inside the park and so close to walking trails.

The room was perfect for what we needed, just a place to crash after a long day of walking. We didn't interact with too much staff at this place and room service only comes every 3 days. The main Lodge itself had a food court type area with basic food, nothing special to write home about. For the price it was a great value and it was right on the south rim of the canyon which does not heat up too much in the summer in July when we went. There's a very convenient shuttle that passes by the takes you to all the areas you'd want to go if planning a trip to visit the Grand canyon. While we did enjoy ourselves very much if I ever visit the south rim of the canyon again I will probably try somewhere else to stay. Not because there was anything majorly wrong with this place but just to try something different. I would give it a solid three and a half out of five stars.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing.

A great resort in every way! So close to the rim and the buses run every 10 minutes to take you to all of the sites! Highly recommend!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

My feelings about this hotel are complicated. For the price, I would've expected more but maybe what I'm paying for is the convenience and proximity to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. That being said, the room needed a serious update, and our light switch didn't work. The AC was filthy, the tub was either old or dirty because the bottom was gray. The breakfast portions were huge, but the flavor was pretty bland.

The property was well maintained. There are deer everywhere which was very neat to see for my kids. The food court is not good. We ate there because we were hungry and that was the closest thing we had. There were flys everywhere. The shuttle system is good, you can basically go anywhere and it’s easy to follow. The front desk is good at explaining the shuttle system and gave good recommendations for sight seeing. We visited the mule barn and it was so much fun for my kids. Take lots of water, we took an ice chest full of them that way we didn’t have to buy any and left it in the car since it was summer time. Took lots of snack also.

Excellent location, great food court! Beautiful courtyard!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Food wasn’t great and was way too expensive. Other than that the facility was amazing. Very clean and well kept. Would stay again.

Property older but is well maintained and clean. Access to the Rim is easy and convenient…we will stay here again in the future!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Basic, but comfortable stay only 1/4 mile walk from the rim. Lovely to be able to see the sunset then walk back, and experience the quiet of the park in the early morning. We booked one of the kitchenette rooms which allowed us to cook a basic dinner and prepare breakfast and lunch. A rollaway bed was provided so that the kids didn’t have to share a double, but the youngest said it wasn’t too comfy. If you’re a Brit who needs a morning cup of tea remember to ask for a kettle at check-in as they’re first come, first served.

.great place to stay close to amenities

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

I couldn't fault this property at all. The only thing I would have liked is to have stayed another day 😊

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

We loved staying here, we only wish it had been for more than one night! The vibe staying over night in the canyon was peaceful and easy going. We got to see sunset, sunrise and night skys. The location is a 5 minute walk from bright angel trail.

    Very clean and nice place.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Not very clean, food was average

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

It was peaceful and beautiful at the same time however, not all cabins have back patios facing the trees. There were a lot of wildlife roaming around, which made it even more exciting. The rooms were very clean however, I think they could’ve done a better job cleaning the carpet other than that it was a great experience.
