really enjoyed dining in the evening at their "fancy" restaurant. Excellent food! Very reasonably priced! Great desserts.

We had a great room, fantastic location, quiet, private, beautiful lake view. The building floor plan is hard to navigate, especially if you have a long way to go with luggage. Better signage would help. Also I had no idea you are aligned with Choice, as a Gold member, it was disappointing not to take advantage of the discounted rates. I spoke to someone at the front desk, they were able to give me the rewards I am entitled to as a member. I feel the Choice alliance could be promoted more.

Beautiful property, quiet... Excellent food

Clean, updated, friendly, location on the lake, views, affordable restaurant/drink prices, fire pit at night. Everything was great!

My family and I had a room on the lake. Great space. Beautiful view. Cleaning staff was very helpful. Dining room was excellent.

We had a wonderful time! Just beautiful!
-
the entire facility is in disrepair. our carpet was flooded by a broken AC. The only available replacement room was a major downgrade and it had food on the floor under the table. the guest laundry was broken and unavailable. The restaurant was closed for the first 2 days of airventure. There was no complimentary coffee available for guests in the lobby.

Beautiful property, with nice restaurant, pool (indoor and outdoor). Tesla chargers as well.
-
Facility over all fairly good overpriced however. Disappointing that staff at front desk was not able to accommodate until very late the merging of two separate bookings I had for consecutive stays. Finally after complaints they went to the manager and I was accommodated so that I would not have to change rooms. Email I sent was not responded to either

The property is very clean and well maintained

We had a wheelchair accessible room and it was lovely. We had plenty of room to move around and the bathroom worked well for us. My only recommendation would be to add some additional lighting in the indoor pool area and expand the number of games in the “arcade”. The grandchildren were expecting something a little more grand than what they have there. Other than that I recommend the property and will likely stay there again.

Very good

For first visitors, more help and information is needed at check-in. Great for families but wouldn't recommend for solo travel

Best breakfast. Amazing time.

As nicely appointed as the rooms and physical structure of the hotel was, we were kind of disappointed in the quality of the food in both the Waves Bar and Grill as well as the Oakwood dinning room. The food was eatable, but did not rise to expectations based on the other aspects of this hotel.

The hotel was pretty nice, the Wave restaurant in particular was awesome. The indoor pool felt a bit dated, but my kids still enjoyed it. The outdoor pool was super nice and we spent a decent amount of time there. The grounds were very well maintained and the views of the lake were spectacular of course. The staff was pleasant enough for the most part. We were just a bit disappointed with our room, it felt relatively small and dated, however it wasn't really where we spent most of our time, so it was okay. Overall our time was great and we definitely would recommend the Heidel House, but maybe not at the price point that we decided on. It seems like we would have had a better experience spending a bit more money on the room. I believe we paid the lowest price possible for a room there, and I feel like it showed. Again, it really wasn't bad for the money, I think I just had higher expectations for staying at a "resort" style hotel.
