The staff was friendly and the main structure of the hotel appeared in good shape. We were looking forward to enjoying the pool and hot tub but they were both closed with no ETA on when it would be open as they apparently cannot find anybody that is willing to fix the problem. (You may want to remove that amenity from the listing until that's sorted out.) Our room also felt very damp, as in your socks would feel wet after walking from the bathroom to the bed. There was already a small humidifier on the table so that's an obvious ongoing problem. I would probably not book this hotel again.

I would stay again. I appreciated the amount of washcloths in the room - most hotels don't have enough for the number of people & nights. The breakfast was not bad.

Arrived just after 10PM. Check-in was good. Our room was terrible! Extremely damp and had an overpowering musty aroma. AC did no good and contributed to the bad aroma. The pillows and linens were damp as a result of the extreme humidity in the room. There appeared to be a desktop dehumidifier present that was not working. Carpet was old and puckered in places. Walls were damaged from PTA which I recorded on my phone. Toilet did not flush, however I was able to fix that. Hot tub did not work. I did not seek another room as we were unpacked and it was late. Will stay in Clear Lake or Mason City next time in Hampton.

Clean rooms nice breakfast

The property was well maintained, staff members were friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only down side was the hot tub was down for repairs.

Everything was fine, Except the floor in the shower, it needs a better wall to keep the water in the shower room and not let it Run to the toilet.

We were very pleased to stay the two nights at the Hampton AmericInn. We enjoyed the room with the jacuzzi.

Breakfast was delicious every day. Rooms was clean and bed was comfortable! Will be staying again when back in town!

This place is just so nice anyway but the staff really make it exceptional!

Clean, friendly staff, room was warm when we arrived. Breakfast could have been better. Wasnt a fan of the ham/ cheese pattie or the eggs.
