There was a delay in our room and we received an upgrade. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The bell staff were also so patient and kind. The property is magical and we wish we had stayed an extra night. Highly recommend a stay here instead of doing road to Hana in one day. The tennis and basketball are immaculate! Thank you for having us, we will always remember the great views and spacious property

The staff was overwhelmingly, helpful, and extremely helpful. This hotel might have the kind of staff in the hotel industry. A beautiful peaceful resort. Very beautiful as well.

Its location in Hana is awesome, close to the National Park and the beautiful Road to Hana. The room was huge. The level of staff training falls far short of what you would expect from a destination resort. The hotel is in urgent need of renovation and better maintenance. For example, the blinds in our suite were missing screws and could not be closed properly. We also had a disappointing experience at the hotel restaurant, The Ranch. During our second dinner, I ordered a Coke Zero, but the waitress told me they did not have any. When I mentioned that they had served it the previous evening, she insisted that the restaurant had never carried it. On my way out, I asked another waiter, who confirmed that Coke Zero was indeed available. Rather than dismissing what I said, the waitress could simply have offered to check. The pool restaurant also has very few food options. The menu could be significantly improved with more variety and better choices. Overall, the property has potential, but it needs urgent attention to maintenance, dining options, and—most importantly—staff training and customer service. The price is also not consistent with the service level you get.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was exceptionally very nice. The whole property was very pretty.
-
The phone system is terrible. When you tried to get to the front desk…you would get a recorded message. You could not make out the details of the message except to leave one.

The resort is beautiful and the view from our room is absolutely stunning. Staffs were very friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing. Definitely the highlight of our Hana trip!

Size of the room and the view.

Was upgraded to an oceanfront bungalow. The room was large and clean and perfect. The staff was wonderful and the property was Heaven on Earth. The pool was perfect the views unmatched. Will stay again.

Loved the quiet setting: serenity with lovely views. Pool was good, and always happy there's a hot tub. Breakfast options were good. Loved the spaciousness of our cabin. The deck chairs by the pool really need padding.

It is a resort! The ocean view from the cabanas were magnificent!!
-
The first hotel on the island but very well maintained. Front desk staff was amazing and we were sad to leave.
-
Gorgeous property, but the room could have been cleaner. Also not a lot of food options and Hana Ranch restaurant was overpriced for subpar food.
-
The property was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing. Our room was clean and spacious but definitely a few areas that could use some attention (paint peeling, tile stained). It would not dissuade me from staying there again however.

Everything about this hotel is great but there is no TV in the room which I didn’t really like. People want to offline or not should be decided by their guests and not by the hotel.

This is a gem on the far Eastern side of Maui. The road to Hana is an adventure. When you get to this resort, you really feel like you have gotten away. The staff were delightful and the food very good.

Would have loved to stay longer.
-
My one criticism is....get rid of the resort fee. Just add it into the night stay. Resort fees are just sleight of hand to charge your more.
-
The bungalow was fabulous.

Wish it was on ffyftxz

Amazing resort, staff are incredible, views are outstanding. Everything was included in nightly fees, beds were very comfortable. Cannot wait to come back to Hana just to enjoy the serenity of this place.
