The rooms are adequate and not at all fancy. The shaker pegs provide plenty of places to hang things. We appreciated the night light in our bathroom. The restaurant had an interesting menu and the quality of the food was good.

We stayed in the Sisters Wash House and I do believe it is haunted.
-
Amazing experience. Like a spa for the mind and heart.

Beautiful, serene, educational, unique, very peaceful, historical, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The hiking map made it seem that the trails were easy to find and follow. Not so. One of my main goals was to hike and it was pretty impossible.

Really loved how accommodating the property and staff were, we were passing through for a shooting competition so didn’t get to fully enjoy all the amenities but the staff went out of their way to provide us with an excellent experience regardless. Also really loved the intentionality with the restaurant. The kids menu was not just some cheap chicken nuggets it was well thought and just as luxurious as the adult’s meal. We will absolutely be returning and planning to spend more time enjoying the village.

Breakfast buffet was simple, scrambled eggs sausage and bacon. Also yogurt and fruit. Great way to start the day on many of the trails covering the 3000 acre site. The trail signs could have been a little more detailed like, "you are here".

Great experience! A wonderful cultural emersion with a clean comfortable room. Folks were genuinely friendly and helpful. Tours were very informative and fun. One of our servers didn’t seem to want to be there the night we had dinner. Everyone had an off day I guess!

The historical interest was superb. The stag was excellent and very helpful. The facility is just very old, lots lots of dark, narrow steps to the room, poor AC, and damp. During the stay the power went out for the whole property. Not the staffs fault and they were excellent. In retrospect, it is a better day trip destination with overnight lodging somewhere else.

love the peacefulness of the location. exploring the garden was enjoyable.

Super unique property! It's like staying at a Pioneer Village. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and very historic. We also loved the on site restaurant. We felt super safe and it was a really unique experience!
-
Such a great experience. Such an interesting and beautiful place to stay. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back. Only thing I would do different is I would stay longer.
-
Every5hing. Friendly staff and excellent informative tour guides. History of the Shakers of Pleasant Hill in a nutshell, well exhibited. The Trustee’s Table offers authentic dishes in a lovely setting. A few buildings in need of TLC. A work in progress.

Clean and quiet Stairs

It's such a lovely, quiet place. And the views of the stars at night are great. The restaurant is really good too, with local products on the menu (something that should give extra points). There's an amazing free space for the kids to play, which is great. (We stop here on our way to the Smoky Mountains from Chicago.) Nothing!

The stairs and lack of anyone to assist you with your luggage.
-
The room was not very clean. It needed a good vacuuming and dusting
-
It was beautiful and old like stepping back in time. Very well preserved, I felt like I was spending the night in a place from the 1800s you pay money to tour. So peaceful and quiet.
-
A lovely place to stay, very clean, with a variety of activities and things to do on the premises. It was an incredible experience to stay in a room and be part of history. Very clean, with horseback riding, ponds, and other animals to see. The staff was extremely friendly, and the facility was spotless.

Very peaceful beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the experience

The Grounds are beautiful and we had a wonderful breakfast and dinner at Trustees. However, our room in the West House was musty and damp. The staff tried to rectify the problem with new linens and fans to dry out the room. I would research the building you plan to stay in before you go.
