Quiet and serene. Beautiful property and excellent staff. Very dog friendly. I extended two additional days, just didn’t want to leave. Enjoyed a pedicure, manicure and massage, all were very relaxing and the spa staff and Erica are very kind and welcoming. Restaurant staff are courteous, and now I have new friends. Looking forward to my stay in Oct. Will be bringing friends with me. My only suggestion would be an outdoor table at all the cabins.

Great peaceful spot. The studio was the perfect size for me and my wife. It is very centrally located too

I didn’t like

It was very cute and cozy, I like also the privacy Everything good. No problems at all. There was only one light that was blinking , maybe check on it. The light close to the bed frame

The entry keypad didn’t work when we arrived. There are no night stands next to the bed. No area to put your clothing to unpack. The restaurant closes early…8pm. The property is not being maintained well. Good thing, is that it is nearby Biltmore and Asheville.

Staff is fantastic.

We had high expectations for this resort and spa. The reality is that it is so massively overpriced for what it is. To start, they don’t tell you, but they don’t work well with Expedia. There is no front desk, so you get a message with room number and code. Except that is not your actual room number. When our code didn’t work, we called the number in the listing and they said since we were Expedia, they just wait for us to call to get a room number. Then they gave us the “upgrade” to the top floor with no elevator. There was a full mop bucket outside our door for the entire stay. The amenities in the room were limited. The shower had two of the three dispensers installed, so no shampoo. The pool was dirty to the point two bored kids started fishing leaves out of the pool. Hot tub did not work and when I asked the bartender, she said she had no idea. Pool bar was very basic and closed at 5:00. Restaurant was empty and menu was also basic and overpriced. My wife got a facial that cost $199 before tip and they add a 4% fee if using credit card plus 10% service charge. We are very experienced travelers and this place is certainly not in the resort category. No on site customer service at this price point is crazy. You had to call the same number we called to get a room to even get access to the ice machine. The gym is literally hallway with a 1990 bowflex machine and two cardio machines that were unplugged. Not even close to the value that they are charging. Beware

Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, so we had to go off-site for meals and drinks. Even though those facilities were closed, it would have been nice to still have the option to purchase bottled water or other beverages on-site. The room was clean, but the bathroom didn't have any ventilation, which caused it to get quite hot at times. The resort did have a plug-in fan for the bathroom, and it helped while we were using it. We also kept the bathroom door closed to help keep the heat from spreading into the rest of the room. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Aside from those minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay and would consider visiting again.

Be mindful of loose dogs if you bring your pet. Spa was amazing. Food was great.

Beautiful views, nice, clean room. Very nice pool and hot tub. We were not aware of the amount of steps to the Studio. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Grounds around the area were not as I would have expected. This could be a work in progress due to cut trees still needing cleaned up. Lots of weeds and blackberry bush vines running thru the steps to the studio. Outside dining area had remnants of daycare being there. Food on floor and tables.

Our fridge was making a loud horrible noise about every 20 minutes or so waking me up! Also the shower curtain fell off twice nearly knocking my head off then my daughter's. Need to fix those two issues in studio 3 C. Otherwise, all good stay.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The A frame cottage was clean and we loved the swing on the balcony. The restaurant food was delicious and service was excellent. The Swimming pool & hot tub was clean and nicely decorated. Hiking trails on the property. A great location and great accommodations. Highly recommend staying here
