Clean Room, close to casino
-
Very nice rooms.
-
Nothing The room was dirty. I heard gunshots during my stay on top of numerous sirens. And the AC was leaking all over my floor. I will be contacting management

This place is perfect if you're looking for a quick place to stay while visiting local attractions. The rooms are always clean, the staff is super friendly and always willing to help 10/10 for me!

No-fuss staff. Welcoming room design. Comfy big bed and sheets. Nice-thick toilet paper No microwave, tissue, conditioner
-
This is a decent economical place to stay. I is close to Sann Manuel Casino.
-
Nothing The office smell when I walk on 9
-
The only two things I didn't like is that the a/c was noisy and a picture of my driver's license was taken at checkin. I do not believe this was necessary.

I could not find the office to check in. I only found an open door that let to a hallway with an ice machine and vending machine and a door that I think may have been the front desk but the door was locked and no one was at desk. No doorbell or anything to ring. I saw no signs saying "office" anywhere. O ended up leaving and going to another hotel because it was already after midnight and I was exhausted. When I attempted to get a refund due to not being able to find the office to check in, of course they denied it. This was very inconvenient.

Location near yamavaa casino There were spiders and bugs on the floor crawling around. When I got there I tried showering and the water was cold. I let the water run for 20 min and it never got hot. The air conditioner was also broken I had to mess with the broken buttons so it could stay on.

The cleanliness in the furniture and bedding sheets. There were too many ants in the bathroom. Plus the staff that was very rude telling us to get off the property when I came to the office the next morning to request for another night and was about to pay cash too. He's about in his mid 30s, working in the morning acting like he thinks he's the owner when to find out he's just one of those that's here to go college etc. He has curly, wavy long haired, Western Indian staff members, with a dark complexion and spoke well in English It was the first time that my husband and I had experienced our first time staying at the motel ever since new management took over. My husband and I had a little disagreement that morning, but it gives no right for that staff to make the decision telling us that we can't stay there another night and told us in his loud voice to leave the property. Extremely rude, arrogant, obnoxious and no manners at all for someone to be in the motel business accommodating customers. . Highland Inn definitely will not get any referral from us since we've stayed there years back longer than this new management took over. No maid sewing at all in the morning to even ask for dry towels. This place is not THE place to go to for a night. Just because they are close to yamaava casino and remodeled their rooms, it doesn't mean the place or the staff are the best friendly people to come deal with. My husband and I were pleased with the awesome couples from Canada, Quebec and they both lived in LA for a long time and until now they both are in Highland at Highland Inn. Awesome couples! They made my husband and I feel so welcomed and pleased on the day we checked in. The dumb staff that was rude to us both the morning after we stayed one night , hopefully no over has to deal with him like we both did. He doesn't even care when I said they will get a bad review for their place. That's not how business places operate. Customer satisfaction is very important for customers to return.

I really appreciate the remodel and the new ownership. Really nice rooms! Nothing not to like

Really clean place
-
Nothing To close to the street and very noisy at night. The door has big gap so the noise can go through.
-
Location. Close to Yaamava Casino Bed was somewhat hard.

The rest of the room experience wasn’t great. Sheets that were clean, but stained, and we are grateful we brought slippers because the floor was sticky like it was mopped with too much cleaner. Only one dying cockroach (better than a live one!) which might have honestly come in through the crack under the front door. One ceiling lightbulb had a flicker, which we informed them of at checkout. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The sign says ‘under new management’ so I’ll cut them some slack as it seems like they’re working on fixing any outstanding issues. For the price, it was doable.

The renovation The staff was very unprofessional & disrespectful!
-
Staff was so good Parkin good the only was a cucaracha next to the bed.
-
The hotel was right across the street from the Yaamava Casino where we were seeing a concert but there was't really much near by that we could walk to. The room was clean and a good value. There was no chair in the room or hooks on the wall to put your things. The check-in process was very slow considering we had given our information when the room was booked.

Room not ready at check-in time. No hair dryer or iron and ironing board in the room. No chairs or table in the room. Two hangers on the pipe to hang your clothes. A/C would not shut off and sounded like an airplane taking off. The shower was cold water but the sink was only hot water. Will never stay at the Highland Inn again!
