La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hobbs

The bathroom was not clean. There was someone’s hair and a lot of it in the tub. Since that was not cleaned we ended up cleaning the entire room before we even put our stuff down on the bench. We will never stay there again in our life!

Good experience hotel wise!

The girl at the desk was very friendly. the guy that checked us in not so much. we questioned the total when signed as it stated 59.00 a night. we did book through hotel.com. once he was asked he took it back and told us it was wrong room and that it was a coupon rate for someone else and made us do it again. The room was ok. the pool was dirty with green on bottom and hairballs floating around. The walls are super thin and could hear all the conversation from adjoining room. had to keep tv on for privacy. The tub had a small amount of what looked like cleaner with the stopper closed. The room smelled of a bad cleaner. Breakfast was ok but no gravy to go with the biscuits as advertised on the sign. It was not bad but not as good as previous stays.

Owners should be ashamed of the property.

The hotel was ok. They need do better with securing property.

Stay was comfortable. Room very spacious and clean. Check-in staff very nice and helpful with local dining suggestions and care for our pets. Full hot breakfast was nice and well maintained. Suggestions: The BR door of 102 seems to be hung backwards as it opens out and into the back of main door. There is a grassy pet area behind the hotel; signage for this would be helpful, altho' the staff was able to point it out.

No water in breakfast area and they only had water bottles for sale. Breakfast room was hot.

Our experience here was a little disgusting. We discovered, the next morning, that what we had slept on was a mattress cover that had multiple nasty stains on it without a fitted bed sheet over it. We did not realize this the night before because it was late when we turned in. It was completely unnerving to know we had just slept on top, who knows what! I showed the front desk pictures and he immediately took care of it himself, as he said that is nasty. He was super helpful, a true servant, and apologetic. In addition to that, this room had a musty smell, didn’t have wash cloths, there was a missing light bulb in a lamp, there were stain splashed on the wall by a trash can, and the drain plug to the tub was broken. We are not ones to complain, but the bed sanitation was just unacceptable. Again, the front desk was very professional and took it upon himself to correct the bed problem, rather than calling on housekeeping to fix it.

Linen on bed, and towels looks old and worn. AC would not adjust to a comfortable temp. Your night clerk had food and snacks on desk, and was FaceTiming someone. That computer is so big, a person has to go around to even speak to the desk clerk.
