Days Inn by Wyndham Holbrook

Staff was friendly and competent but I thought it would be a nicer place. The room was a bit shabby, although the bedding was good quality and it was clean. I traveled with a small pet and both the dog and I noticed former pet smell in the carpet. Only had coffee since the breakfast wasn't my style. Adequate but nothing to rave about.

Bargain chain, perfectly acceptable for passing through, pet friendly but nowhere specific for dogs to walk. Desolate area limited food after dark, and vending machines were broken.

The room appeared clean and beds were comfy but the odor of animal urine was so over powering. This was a huge disappointment as we have never had that experience at any other Days Inn. Just as they do smoking and non-smoking rooms, I wish they would do the same with animals. I love that they accept pets but I would suggest removing the carpet and designating certain room for travelers with pets. Especially when it comes to allergies. The smell alone made it for the most unpleasant stay. Thankfully only there 1 night or I would have requested for a different room.

Positives: - soft bed - friendly staff - quiet Cons: - room smelled of rotten eggs ( I had to buy febreeze) - pillows were hard and lumpy - hot tub jets did not work & temp was warmish not hot. - breakfast included watery eggs, (sausage was okay), muffin was frozen tasting and had to be thrown away, the waffle maker was a positive. This hotel needs MAJOR updates and refreshing. I would not recommend.

Friendly staff, clean room

The bed was comfortable and was provided with four pillows, which was adequate. They served up an excellent breakfast and there was plenty of seating in the breakfast area. A couple restaurants were within walking distance or a short drive for several others. The shower was nice with sufficient pressure and the room was spotless.

The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff was so helpful, they had us on the 2nd floor but when I found out there was no elevator I asked if they had a room on the first floor and she was able to put us in one. Hotel was nice, clean and location was great, breakfast was good

Good for price

Our room didnt have properly functioning air conditioning. I alerted the desk staff, she came in verified it wasn't working said she may not have an extra room and didnt have anyone to call. My son who was already asleep stayed in the room and my husband and I move to the room our daughters were using.in the morning when I mentioned to the desk staff id like to talk to someone she had me write down my email and the manager would email me? So far, no email.

Traveled between several states. It was my own fault not noticing I was booking a room at a hotel without an elevator. Was assigned a room on the 2nd floor and the clerk was unable to change my room to a first floor room. Stairs were inconvenient but we managed.

Everything was excellent except for problem accessing our room after breakfast. Your staff was very helpful resolving. The manager and maintenance men were courteous.
