The place was very nice.could use more parking but there's an extra lot close by.right on the water

Property was great, right on the boardwalk and within walking distance to everything we needed for a weekend away with the kids. The young lady at the front desk was super helpful in showing us to our room and explaining the parking situation. Room was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 4. The little cafe is great for a quick breakfast and coffee in the morning. Get an ocean view room. It’s worth it to watch the sunrise and have a beautiful view whenever you’re inside.

We are locals that do a beach stay every once in a while, and The Riptide was fantastic. We had an ocean front efficiency which was very comfortable. The fact that there is on-site parking, a Tiki Bar, and live music is all bonus points. There is so much within walking distance that we never even got back in the car to go anywhere else. All the staff were super as well.

Accident location right on the The cleanliness of the room I understand we were on the beach, but I didn’t think we had to walk-through sand in the room and in the shower, and then once we got ready to retire to the bed, it had leaves in it of all things between the sheets, as if the maid just pull the bed up and made it presentable, it appears as if she didn’t change the sheets just made the bed up

It was a shock how much things had changed. Why charge a resort fee with no added benefit. Just go ahead and put this fee on the room rate and dont mention any hidden fees.

Positive: Great location, great view, conveniently right on the beach, we were able to check in early for a fee. Activities/Nightlife: You can find the nightlife with bars, music, live music about a 20min walk from the hotel. Plenty of eateries, liquor stores/market. Hotel also has a tiki bar with live music/DJ during the day. Jet ski and bike rentals near by.

Perfect funky original beach hotel. If you want the real vibe, it is perfect. I will be back!

💯 recomendó mui buena ubicación, no necesitas mover tu carro ya que ahí muchos restaurantes y tiendas ahí mismo el espacio que tienen para que las personas caminen y anden en bicicleta, patines está muy bonito y perfecto para caminar y conocer para los niños tiene varios parques y también con agua para que los niños disfruten definitivamente volver ha ir si dios me lo permite

The access the the beach was only matched to the other hotels we stayed in on the boardwalk. Also, due to being roomed away from the tiki bar, it was very quiet. We arrived late, so understandably we had no instruction from staff on room directions, cleaning protocol etc. However, upon registering the following day, we were given little to no instruction on the overflow parking lot, were not provided a room cleaning door hanger (or advised where it was located). The room was in OKAY condition, it did seem clean. However, the air conditioner's filter was packed with probably years of dust/debris, which did not allow it to properly cool/dehumidify the room. Also, the air conditioner vibrated extremely loud when the compressor kicked on. To which the only way I found to silence the noise was to turn it off. The bed was very comfortable, sheets, comforter, and pillows all seemed very clean. The bathroom was large. However, the water pressure was sub-adequate. For the price, its a good deal, as it is very difficult to find anything priced like this being directly on the beach/boardwalk. However, there are a lot of improvements that can be made.

Riptide was a pleasure to stay at. Everything you need was right in front of your face. We had s great time will definitely be back!!!!!

Great place to wake up and see the sunrise.

Great location just across the walkway to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tiki Bar right there in the courtyard. Room had a small kitchenette if you wanted to stay in and beach chairs for the beach. Decor was sparse, plain and simple, beds could have been a little more comfortable. Door latch was a little iffy and should be replaced.
