Land's End Resort

Rooms were fairly spacious, but could use some updating, were very dated but clean. Otherwise felt safe and Quiet. Restaurant atmosphere and food was excellent! hot tub. In the evening was beautiful, beautiful balconies. If you face the bay, beautiful views!

Everything was great except for last day there was a fire alarm that didn’t turn off for over an hour.

I really enjoyed this Hotel. Excellent location and very nice people working there. If you like privacy and a beautiful view of the ocean this is a great location! Shopping all over the place, but make sure you don't go to this area after Sep 5th cause a lot of stores are closing and tours. We arrived late in the season and a lot of store were already closed.

At 63 years old I have been many places in my life. This stay was the best by far. Unmatched views, staff, comfort.......you name it/ excellent!! I didn't want to come back home!!! Thank you for the experience of a lifetime LandsEnd!!!

The complete lack of follow-up was really poor. No one checked on guests, there was no apology in the morning & nothing was mentioned when I checked out until I raised the issue myself. I was told management would discuss compensation and contact us but over a week later I have still heard nothing. Things go wrong but the lack of communication, leadership & reassurance during what could have been an emergency was very poor. Management is poor and the hotel is tired and in need of investment. An expensive night for disrupted sleep!

The room was clean and the room was right on the bay where you could sit at the window and look at the bay. The best part was leaving the window partially open and listen to the waves crash on shore while we were laying in bed!

If you make it to this end of Alaska, I would highly recommend a stay at Land’s End. It is a nice facility with very friendly staff. They are very aware of the size of their pool and take reservations which we had no problem getting to allow the kids time to unwind in the pool. The views from the hot tub are absolutely breathtaking. It’s not the cheapest place you could stay in Homer but it’s well worth the money you spend to stay here.

Great staff. Restaurant was surprisingly good-great Halibut and best seafood chowder we’re had on our trip!

Beautiful oceanfront hotel

Easy parking and convenient location. Victoria at front desk was VERY HELPFUL, friendly, and welcoming! Other staff were also friendly. Room was compact but I still had plenty of room for my stuff. The room was very clean and towels were replaced every day. No breakfast included. Room refrigerator had ONLY A VERY TINY FREEZER. Could not use it for my travel cooler ice sheets.

Nice location. Fire alarm going off in the facility when we arrived at 9:00 PM with no coordination or fire department showing up for more than an hour. All clear to go to rooms not until after 11:30 PM and no assurance that there would be no more alarms, and fire department not helpful nor was the front desk communicative or helpful. Lots of people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Finally got our room -- at full price -- further away from the front desk was not possible -- and alarm went off multiple times during the night with no sound for the alarm in our remote room but still awakening us with bright light flashing in the room, and getting up to investigate to make sure it was safe. Got virtually no sleep. Went to the hotel restaurant the next morning and had two really poor buffet restaurant meals for $24/each plus the cost of the juice and a waiter that took more than 30 minutes to get our bill, making us at risk for late checkout. Rush to leave by checkout time and messed up the entire day because of lack of sleep and delays. Left in a rush leaving an expensive winter coat in the room. Called general manager and left message to arrange to have coat sent back to us -- no response. Very, very expensive lesson and horrible management. Reflects very poorly on Booking.com

The location and the views! We had a killer whale visit during our dinner at the hotel restaurant - which is good but not very organized… the menu outside was not updated…

Good location, nice view Had fire alarm go off at 9 pm and they had a problem for several hours to reset it . So we had to stay out of hotel for hours and then the staff said manager and owner will review our request for some refund or discount and then they never got back to us despite bieng in contact with front desk amd staff. Still waiting for a response days later
