The Kahala Hotel & Resort

Beautiful and off the beaten path from the city noise! Just perfect!! Beautiful room and property! Beach was lovely and the dolphin quest was amazzzzing!!! Staff was so helpful and kind! I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

The rooms are a tiny bit musty, but the location cannot be beat, it is all by itself on a beautiful beach.

Second time staying. Great location, beautiful stretch of private beach. Get the impression the staff could be a little more attentive. Waiting staff morale seems low. Basic asks feel like too much work for them. On the plus side the room is comfortable and quiet but could do with a bit of updating. Feels a bit tired. AC in the hotel blasts far far too cold, imagine how much energy could be saved if they just set it at the right temperature. Poolside dining options could use some work.

We booked an ocean view room. The photo on line did not show that you look down on top of the hotel and parking entrance/lot. A bit misleading. Furniture in room a bit hard and bed a bit too firm. The room itself was very nice. Service was excellent. The grounds are gorgeous. I would not stay on that side of the hotel again however. Dolphins were amazing to watch.

This resort was everything I was looking for ! Wonderful and accommodating staff! Clean, quiet, spacious, modern, beach , pool, brunch, waterfalls, beautiful green Mountains and ocean Views! The dolphins were the icing on the cake .. I hope to spend more time at this resort when I visit Hawaii again

The rooms were very spacious. Beds were soft and comfortable. Room service and housekeeping were very helpful and quick service. Complimentary bottle water and coffee in room was good and convenient. Food and beverages were also good at hotel.

The hotel was way outdated. Very small pool, needed repairs everywhere. There was a tropical storm and the hotel did not adequate generators. We were out of electricity for a day and night. It got very hot. Only thing open for eating was breakfast.

No air conditioning, waited until 4:20 to get access to the room. Check in was at 3:00. Advertised as free shuttle from the airport. Cost was $---. Nuts. Not worth it.

Best place in town!

It was marketed as a quiet place to rest away from the noise of the main area - but it was the sea world of hotels. Also they charged by for 2 nights for a 22hr stay because I arrived early in the morning.

In my opinion, it is the most beautiful hotel in Hawaii! It has a private beach and a wonderful staff. It is very relaxing.thank you!!

It is close to everything but still quite and isolated Everything was good, the room, the comfort, the cleanliness, the food, especially the italien restaurant, all was excellent

It is definitely a 5 star hotel and resort. Well worth the cost.

The property was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Every single staff member was genuinely kind and helpful. We will absolutely be returning. The food was delicious.. the rooms were gorgeous.. and the accessibility to the private beach was perfection.
