Great place for a family getaway

The pool was dirty, the room had carpet which needed to be cleaned. The refrigerator didn’t get cool. The mattress on the pull out bed/couch was stained, the sheets were in a bag and smelled like cigarette smoke. With all that said, we squeezed in the queen size bed.

Great area, it was quite. Close to restaurants and stores.

The tvs are really old (not smart tvs), but they did have HDMI ports. We were able to connect Xbox and use our personal mobile hotspot data to stream shows at night. We requested a late check out (would have been willing to pay a fee) but were told we had to be out by regular check out at 10:00 am as the room was booked for the day of our check out and needed to be cleaned for turn around. There appeared to be multiple empty units. The jetted tub jets did not work the first night. I mentioned it the second day to staff, and they sent maintenance staff to the room. He showed me that you sometimes have to hit the test and/or reset buttons on the electrical outlets across the room from the bathtub sometimes to make it work. There were no instructions on that anywhere that I saw. I did get a promotional credit from one key cash that this place accepted when similar properties wouldn't that reduced the payment by around $40. I would rather pay the difference for an updated room.

It was perfect for our family of four. We booked both A/B apartments so the kids could sleep in a bed, not on a couch and it couldn’t be better. Ample room to relax and both apartments come with kitchens for you to make your own meals and save $$ while on vacation. This truly made our vacation relaxing. Checking in was a bit tricky but you get messages from the host with clear directions and they have an after-hour number you can call for any issues you run into. Will definitely book again and highly recommend!

The stay was very pleasant. The rooms were very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of 4 had an amazing time! My kids were disappointed that the pool wasn’t ready, but they survived lol.

The tub didn’t work , the shower spit out water everywhere & some of the towels had stains. I’ve stayed plenty of times at this location & I’ve never had as many problems as I did with my last stay.

Clean rooms and helpful staff

I like that we had our own space and it was clean and the privacy from the two rooms was very great

The pillows on the beds were old and of poor quality.

No accurate information listed on the hotels.com listing. When we made it to the room my husband and I both immediately started looking for another place to stay due to the smell. Communication with staff is nearly impossible. Maybe we were unlucky with the room but all of the follow up has been horrible.

I use to go there every summer and it was great but this was my first time since COVID and it was not a good stay for the money I spent. The best part was the check in host Melanie!

Room B has a mini kitchen and living room with small eating space, washer and dryer and smaller bathroom with bathtub/shower combo and bedroom with queen bed and tv. Area B overlooks the parking lot. This place was nice, but I will say it could use some definite updates like paint, new flooring and modernizing. The things I liked is that it has a walking trail for morning walks in nature and was away from all the traffic and congestion and allows you to be more in nature. Things close by: Brookshire’s, subway, Walmart within15 mins and a few restaurants.

Only problems were ants on kitchen counters and out of soap in shower dispenser. Otherwise great!
