Initially, we had a smoked room, but staff was great in getting us a new room. we thought breakfast was a little bit light in offerings. Nice pool experience.

Very outdated!

The toilet was running all night. There was no clock. There was no shampoo. The remote was filthy. There were stains on the carpet. We were locked out of our original room and they could not get in until almost midnight. We had to go to sleep in the new room in our regular clothes as all our things were in the old room

there was a bug in my bed. it was at the head of the bed. I noticed a black speck on the white sheet and when I look closer it had legs. I don't know what kind of bug it was. I think it was a bedbug. it was dead. manager is fighting the refund

Perfect for a weekend getaway.

This hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However the property itself could use a little care. In our room the walls had paint coming off, it seemed really outdated and the outlet on the clock side of the bed didn't work, which means we didn't have a working lamp or the outlet that was on that lamp.

Very clean room and clean bed. Great pool, AC and space.

Breakfast was great. Good food.

The property is in a good area. Centrally located minutes away from Ohio, Kentucky and in West Virginia. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the television in our room did not work at all and we asked two separate times to have it looked at/fixed but it never was. I would probably stay here again if in the area. A great bonus was The Hillbilly Hot Dog diner was close to the hotel and definitely worth the visit. Get the banana split!

Location was great for work. Price was okay. Staff incredibly friendly and responsive. Bed was comfortable and I slept good when I got to sleep (see below). I feel bad because the bad isn’t really the fault of the staff or hotel. I was traveling alone, booked a single king room, and got put in the jacuzzi king, which didn’t matter because I wasn’t going to have time for a bath. Something horrible happened in that room with some people with a poop fetish—I’m not kidding. There was a large stain in the carpet, a handprint and a face drawn and stained into the wall, and stains from other andventures everywhere. The room was also incredibly humid and I suspected it was from the carpets getting scrubbed. I had to request staff come clean my toilet seat because it was still smeared with crap on the top of the seat. The AC wasn’t able to dehumidify the room and sounded like someone was running glass marbles in a blender. I worked long days and late into the night—hotels in general are brutal for this, because room service, maintenance, and the morning rush mean I’m woke up whether rested or not. The breakfast was okay. Not the best or worst—but I was always awake at the end of it. They provided biscuits and sausage gravy which was the only ready to eat hot food. People didn’t knock the gravy off of the spoon, OR staff didn’t clean it, so by the time I get there the spoon is laying on the holder on the counter in a giant pile of cold gravy that overflowed onto the counter. Like most hotels in this area, it’s an older building that has been harshly used and held together by friendly staff who are doing what they can.

Quiet and calm. Clean. Suitable for holidays with children.

They staff was very polite and helpful the breakfast was wonderful. The room we stayed in was big but the carpet was disgusting and some things were showing a lot of wear. If they would invest in a good carpet cleaning and spruce up the bathroom this would be 5 stars.

Location was located near Marshall University The carpet was extremely dirty and there was a horrible smell on entire room. The curtains had numerous big holes which made privacy a concern. The floors seemed week and had several places I thought would fall threw
