The Independence

The entire staff was very welcoming. Our room was very nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable and HVAC was just a white noise. Perfect for a good nights sleep. My husband really liked the breakfast. We would stay again.

Reception lady changed our room and that was good Complimentary bottle of wine as a gold tier hotels.com member was a nice perk Restaurant - we had breakfast and dinner was good as well

The hotel stay was great. Beautiful views, comfortably quiet at night. Pillows were feathers though which meant halfway through the night your head was just on the mattress, they have thin glass lamps which made us nervous about breaking them or shards on the floor from previous uncautioned stayers. The real complaint is the closing of the restaurant at 7 PM on Sundays. Most everything in town closes at 8 PM in town so we on Sunday night went hungry at 7:45 PM. Since this is the only hotel in town I feel like it should offer its restaurant to be open later for those not familiar with small town culture.

Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately there were a few private events so we weren't able to eat at the restaurant which meant we needed to walk to the town which was close but added time that we didnt have. There was a 6am alarm still set from the previous room occupants which was a shock when we weren't expecting to get up til 9am.

Clean rooms. The EV charger was very helpful. Breakfast was not great. No simple bread. Only fruit loops cereal. No staff to help.

We love this hotel and have stayed there a number of times. The breakfast isnt quite as good as it used to be. But everything else is consistently wonderful. Very quiet serene setting by the Willamette river. Nice walking path, views, and general amenities, very pleasant staff. Top notch!

Our stay here was awesome! On-site resturaunt that overlooks the river. Our stay came with complementary breakfast that was excellent. The room we stayed in was clean. It was quiet even if they had the community fiesta going on to the park next to us.

The hotel is a Trace Hotel. It was exceptional and I recommend staying there when you are on your wine tour of Willamette Valley.

Beautiful room! We slept so well! Shower was amazing! Great staff! Delicious breakfast! Close to Wedding Venue! Park nearby gave us enjoyment and fun people watching! Loved the view of the Willamette River at breakfast. Bikes to borrow. Paths along the river.

Very nice place, clean, great view of the river. The breakfast was disappointing the eggs were powdered and no bacon and the sausage was gray…I would still stay there again. Oh and we tried to eat at the restaurant for dinner but they were very short staffed so we went somewhere else.

Clean, pleasant, amazing beds and showers. Food and drinks were amazing at the restaurant as well. Will def stay here again if I’m in the area!
