La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville TX

We booked a room with double beds because I had my grandson with us and he wasn’t even able to sleep in his bed!! We all had to cram in one and sleep on top of the cover because his bed had a stain that appeared to be old blood or food of some sort. There was also hair everywhere! The carpet was dark colored but soiled so badly that the stains showed through. I’ll attach pictures below. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom. It was so filthy that I had to wear my shoes in the shower and I was reluctant to even do that. Once we got back from the reunion and I took a look around I started to sleep in my car. I can’t believe that we spent $211 for a place so deplorable. In my opinion they need to tear it down and start all over again from the ground up. I should have known to walk away once we walked into the lobby and I got a whiff of the old water smell.. but I figured with the top few reviews being so good the rooms had to be nice. Boy, was I wrong! Those people were obviously paid to leave a good review or it was an inside job to boost sales. There is absolutely no chance that they stayed in the same place that I did and left a review like that. I would not recommend this place at all!!! If you’re considering staying in Jacksonville try Holiday Inn. Some of the family stayed there and it was well kept.

Great stay, clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast around 7:45a seemed to not so temperature hot but was decent. We stayed during a baseball tournament weekend and had boys from other teams running up and down the halls late at night and knocking on doors, the staff did take care of the matter, and not the hotels fault, more of bad parenting on the boys not being aware of what and where their children were. Would stay here again if needed.

The pool was ice cold and the microwave in our room was not working.

Very clean. The AC was a little noisy but other than that it was very nice.

The room itself was fresh and clean. No smell. Cool & fresh.

Bathroom was absolutely nasty. Mold in the shower. Shower head not working. Yellow caulking around toilet. Floor drain had bad smell. Absolutely filthy

Clean & convenient Nothing

If I could rate them 0 stars that is what they would get. You are better off at the Holiday Inn rather than this hotel. The staff is unfriendly - the breakfast is terrible - the gravy for biscuits and gravy was like glue and the new batch put out was cold. The scrambled eggs were awful. The rooms were wet and damp they had damp rid in the rooms but didn’t control the moisture. Was going to let our son swim in the pool - but, it looked dirty and gray water. The rooms are dark and no lighting other than between the bed and at the desk. Best to find someplace other than here to stay!

Reviews are accurate. This place is great, convenient and most importantly clean.

Breakfast menu did not look or taste fresh. Smoking pot on the 3rd floor was so bad. Had to Complain a couple of times but seems like the staff didn’t care bc they said it happens all the time and they can’t stop it.

Rooms and staff were excellent, beds extremely comfortable. Very clean. Was well pleased with the stay.

When I was placed in my room the TV did not work, also I sat down in the office chair at the desk and the arm pad fell off.

I arrived on Friday. I had 2 rooms booked, both with king beds. They only gave me one king bed, and the hotel was then booked solid. Saturday, when I came back from being gone all day, my room was not cleaned.
