Staff was Great waterpark was a bit crowded because there was an event but I will go again it was beautiful

If you want access to the water park, it’s extra and you have to drive to the Jay hotel on property where the water park is located. If you are staying for any length of time be prepared to eat at the one restaurant in the hotel, or drive to the Jay and eat at one of the restaurants there. There is nothing local, be prepared to drive a distance for restaurants or stock up on supplies, unless the general store on property doesn’t have what you need,

The amenities that were open were good. Unfortunately it was not made clear when i booked that many of the bars, restaurants, and activities closed for the season. Rock climbing was closed, ice skating was closed, the tram was closed for weather. We ended up at the water park though and that was really nice. Overall i would stay again.

Not realizing the waterpark wasnt part of the Expedia package I went ahead and called the resort and purchased $300 in waterpark tickets. On 16 April we arrived and checked in at 5:30pm, I asked the front desk where I pick up the passes and they said upstairs and we got up there to find out it closed at 6pm while the website said 8pm. To make matters worse, we discovered that the restaurants and provisions store of the property also closed around the same time. Thankfully, we found a restaurant 5-10 min away, we explained to the waitress what had happened and she informed us her child was supposed to go the next week until they discovered the waterpark would be closed for the week because of spring break. I just got off the phone with costumer service only for them to tell me that there was nothing they could do, I purchased waterpark tickets for Thursday & Friday and they were telling me they wouldnt refund me for something I used, which was one days worth not two. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone especially if you have small children, there is absolutely nothing for miles. Lastly, we went to find an exra pillow only to find it blood and yellow staining on it, I reported it only to be told it was probably rust from a pipe.

We’ve stayed at Jay Peak in the past and both times were good. Clean cabins, good food. This time was a poor experience and we won’t be back. Our cabin was filthy. The bedding and bathroom was covered in hair, the pull out couch was a thin piece of foam on an awful bed of springs. The bedroom smelled horribly of urine and the main area of the cabin had a strange odor to it as well. It was very disappointing

Very close to trails and ski locker
-
Clean spacious rooms. Comfortable. Home away from home

Great location (Golf and Mountain Cottages), very friendly staff throughout resort, shuttle bus service, free EV chargers in walking distance (1/4 mile), deck with view, free laundry, very big room, skiing and waterpark Advertised as "one-bedroom" but it wasn't really; "bedroom" was downstairs but no door so had to turn lights off and be quiet in living room when kids going to sleep, "King bed" was really two singles next to each other and sheets kept coming off, plain with minimal decorations, check schedule for amenities cause some were closed (Clips and Reels climbing gym and movies)

We liked the size of the cottage, the deck (even though it was too cold to use it) and the full kitchen. We liked how close we were to the mountain and the restaurants. We had a nice meal at The Foundry with a lovely server. We did not like the two twin beds pushed together as a king bed; they were not comfortable. One of the pillows was ripped on the side and losing stuffing. We had to go upstairs from the bedroom to use the only bathroom; this resulted in less restful sleep than normal. Also kids from the next unit were running right outside our bedroom area on the ground level one morning & it was hard to completely close the blinds. The bedroom was very sparse in decor. The resort fee does not really make sense in April, as we did not find inclusive facilities to use geared towards adults, nor near the cottages (no hot tub/pool, fire pits, movie room, pool or ping pong, etc.) & we did not need the shuttle. Most lifts were down on day two due to weather (only beginner ones were running; thus we did not ski & can't return this year to use 2 ski passes from a 4-pack that are supposed to expire... $150 loss).

I had an incredible experience at JP resort I would definitely go back as soon as possible
-
It was an enjoyable off-season trip to the mountain.

The unit was well maintained though has signs of wear and tear from being a ski rental. I wish there was easy access to a gym but skiing provided plenty of physical exercise. I would definitely come back and stay here again for a long weekend!

It definitely could of been cleaner (top of fridge was FILTHY, floors dirty, cabinets had a greasy film all over it, ceiling fans were dusty and we kept sneezing, hair left in the shower) I have to say, I felt comfortable to sleep there and like I said, overall, would stay again if they deep cleaned the cottage

The property itself was very nice, but on the cottage the carpet was very dirty, the doors were very dirty, and when we went to sleep the 2 beds was full of hair. We called the front desk a few times to request clean sheets; the toilet was clogged, and the washing machine wasn't working. Every time, they arrived quickly and very courteously to fix what was needed. In my opinion, the hotel needed to offer more activities. It was very beautiful, but very boring.

The waterpark was clean and a good size to keep track of your kids. The staff was very attentive and kind. It was hard to go in April as it is the end of the season and a lot of restaurants and activities were not open.
